Focus,

You are such a fierce stud, I bet you are really good at scaring women into not fighting you.  Very very impressive.

Are you SURE it was a woman? Because frankly I don't know of any women who act like this but I've seen a few guys who do. But if it was a woman sounds like she maybe she has some issues or more likely, just an attention seeker who seeks the WRONG kind of attention. One way or another someday someone will take her up on that offer to fight and she will get her ass handed to her.

I know if she had come up behind me and clawed my back she would have gotten a knuckle sandwich real quick.

Well thats a new one for Me...dont see much of that
up here in Maine.

More likely to be a guy being the offender...
and a really good slap to the face (backhanded if You can) shuts them up quick.

I know lots of women like that.  There's a bar here up the street where you can get all-you-can-drink tequila for $5.   Every evning there's a fight or 50.

And while you can hit a girl back, I've been arrested in a bar for a girl punching me for no reason, spraining her wrist, and then screaming to the cop at the door about it.

In my city, it's the standard police procedure to conclusively presume that the guy started the fight.  Here,  if a guy calls the police saying his wife is beating him, the guy gets arrested.  No room for discretion.

I find it impossible to put myself in your position.
The other way around is easier to handle.
In a way though I feel sory for her.
She must have some real problems.
I'm glad you didn't react physically.
As has been pointed out you may have been held to blame.
Perhaps that's what she wanted.
Perhaps she was jealous of your social success.

Last time a drunken idiot grabbed me in a bar, I turned around and slapped him hard as I could, just to knock him over.  Then I got security and had him tossed out.  I probably would have done the same thing to this woman....

As many of the Doms here know, women often will touch a male to try to gain validation early on, only to low-ball the interaction.

My first thought to this was...what an a** !

Many men ............ women will often ..........  gain validation?????

Please explain cause I see NO validity to this and it just might be YOUR way of viewing women in general.

Sir's girl who NEVER touches a man JUST for validation.

This woman knows she is fairly safe in her actions..for she knows that most men will not become aggressive for fear that they will be arrested. She is getting off on the power play..my suggestion...maybe an innocent step on her foot with a lot of painful pressure(since this could be viewed as an inadvertent action)or an "accidental: drop of drink upon her person...But IMO the OP handled it appropriately, considering the circumstances and possible consequences if he had escalated into retribution mode...Tempting

I really didn't mean to do it!!!

Just kidding I really did.

All joking aside, the last person that grabbed me like that in a bar had to get ice for his fat lip.

Dumping a glass of water on her with the hopes she sobers up would seem appropriate.

Did you go to Michigan on your camping trip? Were you in any bars? Troublemaker.

I have a pretty good eye for threats. If she wasn't one, I might have played depending on how bored I was at the bar. At that point, LordandMaster's idea would have been highly appropriate! If she was a threat, however, a quick joint-lock or my fingers on any one of the myriad of nasty little pressure points that dot her body would have deterred her for the rest of the night. True, it might have gotten me tossed out, but that is a small price to pay if you feel you are defending yourself.

Focus,

You'd best be careful Michael!  If you anger him, he may change his avatar pic to a "murderous one," killing all who stumble onto his posts, just so he can get you, via the murderosity of his gaze.

And then where would you be?

We could only hope he wouldn't show up in his next life, back at the slave auction watching Focus standing over him with a post-murderous, yet somehow satisfied look.
