I agree about not being someone to tell others how to be a sub. I get inquiries all the time from both submissives and dominants about how someone can become a better submissive, and I'll usually answer that "this is what tends to work for me" and then explain how the interaction might or might not work based on past experiences and observations. Someone once suggested I should write a slave manual for people who want to be submissives, and I've always kind of just laughed it off because I don't feel it would be appropriate. There are all sorts of submissives and all sorts of slaves, and if I ever thought I had the "one true way", I'd be fooling more than just myself. I think that's one of the reasons why people are responding as they are in this particular thread. Onewayisms only work when you're one on one with someone you admire, respect and/or desire.
