fairdom23 -> do vibrators not "do it" for you? (8/2/2007 2:52:43 PM)

I have come across a unique situation. My most recent girl does not get any stimulation from a vibrator. does not matter if it is a light vibe or strong on her clit or gently teasing her lips...
is this common? she does not have a viberator of her own and this was her first experience with one.
is it possible for a woman to not respond to a vibrator?

While I had not heard of that before, yes it is possible.  How strong was the strongest one? I have one that takes D batteries, and DAMN it is has one hell of a kick!

of course it is possible.  I recommend (and heartily endorse as someone like this) to get a hitachi.  screw that battery operated stuff....anything that has a plug has my vote!

is it possible she is super-sensitive and the vibration, well, any vibration of any kind is 'distracting' to her??? I hate to admit, but I got my first vibe in November lol, it is distracting. I get upset, it is maybe sooo alien that she feels the same way?? can you ask her, I would like to know, really!!

i have a bullet type vibe that runs on a 9 volt battery which has pulse settings, and strong and weak vibe settings, a standard 6" one that runs on AA's, and a pair of wireless panties with the vibrator built in.
i will try the egga nd 6" on her tonight in as many ways as i can, while having a open line of communication to see hwat works best

My own experience has been that any new sensation requires 'training', in order for me to actually orgasm from it without it taking FOREVER, if at all.  This goes for switching vibrators (lighter or stronger), as well as the touch of a new partner.  I havent found anything yet that I couldnt cum from, but it usually takes time for my body to get used to each new thing.  I still feel the stimulation, but maybe she just has a more extreme case of what I described above?  Certainly couldnt hurt to keep trying, maybe with the one she likes the best (or dislikes the least).

You mentioned the clit and lips, have you tried internal stimulation?

They don't "do it" for me at all---it's just distracting and kind of annoying. In my humble opinion at least, not everything works for everyone (I'm sure everyone has for the most part figured that out by now though). Maybe penetration is more stimulating for her?

I'm an old-fashioned kind of girl I guess [;)]

blu thank you, was starting to think I was the only one who felt that way. This kind of info you can't buy I tell ya. lol, nor ask one's doctor.

I enjoy vibrators analy, (is analy a word? nm..anyway) but dont really enjoy them on my clit, actually more painful than stimulating, and while they aren't painful vaginally, vibration doesnt do anything more for me than a regular dildo...but I am one of those chicks where penetration is much better than direct clitoral stimulation anyday

I believe analy is a mortgage company, which is just as well because all those companies are in the crapper.

It's a little odd not to feel *anything* from a vibrator (unless it's very weak, and her preferred stimulation is aggressive, in which case a hitachi or an eroscillator might be a good option). However, I wouldn't find it exceptional if she felt sensations and didn't find those sensations pleasurable.

When i was first introduced to a vibrator, i could have cared less and it didn't really do a lot for me. But than i started using it more and now it does wonders for me [:D]. Though i must admit that sometimes now it won't do me any good. i have my ups and downs with it

no shit!  the only thing a vibrator is good for, in my opinion, is double penetration without having to add a third party to the mix.

Have you seen the Sybian?  Check out www.sybian.com  The web site has information that some report their first orgasm ever with this.  It combines viberation and rotation of the probe in a way to really make connection with the right places inside.

I have one and everone that has tried it has just loved it.  They cant hold out for long.

GhitaAmati -> RE: do vibrators not "do it" for you? (8/5/2007 7:52:18 AM)

lol...and if you turn one of them on...without anyone sitting on it...it'll move around the floor and drive the dogs wild...

ehrm...I mean, yea..they're great....

How does she respond to stimulation without toys and or a vibrator?  I would think that would be your clue.  If penetration gets her going then use the vib to get her loosened up and then finish things by hand or with your prick - she may really long for that connection.
For the longest time I only had gspot orgasms with a partner while I was on top.  Took a lot of experiementation and research even to learn how to best use toys to get the same effect.  Also once I knew how to do this for myself with toys I of course used toys and vib several times a week and my ability to cum quicker, easier and more often increased dramitically.
There may be a bit of a "use it or lose it" aspect to orgasms.  It is nerves but it is so mental and muscle oriented too that toning up and flexing will help.
There is a little book called toygasms that may be useful - I found it useful.  I would say that you might want to give her an assignment of playing with a vib by herself a number of times a week for a specific amount of time.  I bet that would help sensitize her and be a gift you could give her to last the rest of her life. ;-)
