Angel sits up with a jolt! something is very wrong. the baby, Ella, is wide awake and looking at her Mum, and glowing a mid hue lavender... touching her forehead, to check for a fever, she gets glimpses of the raw emotions of Samba... tucking the baby in her sling again, she runs out the door, followed closely by the Vampire master... explaining quickly, what she could, he levitates her upwards and they quickly find Samba and the Dragon simulacrum.

en route, the Vampire master whispers in her ear that there is a blood moon tonight and that it will affect Samba particularly. She's had the blood of too many persons who are connected to the moon phases intimately.. she is not yet able to control her emotions and will react passionately on all levels instead of rationally.

* Watching as my former realm's color turns a slow shade of crimson... ah, I see the Angel understands what this means... yes... yes... samba's going to be a bit confused with the blood moon and all... I'm sure it didn't help that she had those bloody marys mixed with the blood of an alien (to her) species as well... she did seem really fond of them though... we of the continuum aim to please... (snickers)... *

*sambasis standing in front of the meditating dragon is overwhelmed with rage and passion coursing wildly in her veins which she cannot control ...it consumes her entire body craving the closeness she desires to be with the dragon yet feels the strong urge to ram her sword through his throat ...she's so confused with mix emotions inside her head that subconsciously pushes Hydro violently off the sandy shores instantly breaking his concentration and mediation ...and all other living things in that general direction ... the rage and power of the red moon affecting her twists and bends the earth around her knocking sambasis into a deep unconscious state that causes her body to fall helplessly into a cavarnous hole the uncontrollable power created ....sucking her fast towards the evil which awaits her*

Angel is dropped the short distance to the sand when Samba's vampire Master dives for her as she starts to lose control...scrambling back up, she watches as Hydro's body topples over, and feels the affect herself as she is thrust off her feet. scrambling to protect her precious babe, she loses sight of Samba and her Master and thus do not see him plunge into the quicksand abyss to reach her... and by the time she is able to come to her feet and check Ella, it is too late.. all that is left is the susseration of grains of sand twirling in a frenzied dance above a spiral outlined in the sand... wanting to run to Samba's assistance and knowing she cannot possibly leave Ella alone, she falls to her knees and cries out and can only hope that the vampire has been able to reach Samba in time.

Angel wants to see if the Dragon is ok, but knows its no longer truly the dragon and she can't trust him, despite his assertion of never trying to harm her or the babies... but she can't leave the spot where she last saw Samba either.... pulling Ella to her, she kisses her and with Ella's amplification, sends a message to Bear and Sappa as to where she is and what has happened. and then settles into a patch of grass, huddling protectively around Ella, feeding her, and waiting...

*sambasis continues to fall through the earth unaware that she has left her twin and kitlet niece unprotected in the forest realm with Hydro knocked out from the uncontrolled force of her new power as the final essence from sappa's blood merge completely with her ...the sandy earth nearly swallows her however she's saved at the nick of time by her vampire master pulling her away from the evil that seeks to use her as its vessel like the dragon ....he carries her to where her twin sister is huddled for safety in the forest...*

do not touch her, he sternly commands, speak to her ...draw her to back or we shall lose her - forever...

and when she doesn't respond, Angel hardens her voice and reminds Samba of the promises she's made to her nieces and nephew, and demands that she return to fulfill those promises

*sambasis tossing her head side to side feels her twin close by ...hears her voice too however there's a raging battle for control between the dark force that controls Hydro and the continuum ...she subconsciously finds herself struggling to regain control of herself and the powers given to her ...she feels her master entering her mind and repells forcefully to stay out...she remembers the promised made to her twin and to her kitlets ...then she remembers the promised made to the dark force....*

don't seem to be making enough impact on her sister... kissing the top of her baby's head and lingering there, she sings a soft lullaby from their childhood and hopes the happiness she can feel radiating from Ella can make itself felt by her sister. and between the two of them, the purple bubble encircles the women and by default the vampire master... it makes him uncomfortable, but he stays to help Samba.

*suddenly she remembers happier times forgotten from long ago ...a place ...a memory suppressed deep in her mind ...then she hears the lullabye cooing softly in her ears ...tears slowly stream down the sides of her face it ...K and the vampire master see her coming out her deep subconsciousness state returning back to the realm as he wraps her tight inside his cloak realizing she's not out of the effects of the red moon yet*

come with me back to the cottage ...we must prepare, he warns K as he lifts sambasis' body into his strong arms, her life hangs in a delicate balance ...she needs fresh blood

....watches all that transpired between sambasis, Angel and the lizard......feeling a bit starnge after the earlier incedent.....had tapped into the evilness and processing that with my own power....looks up and sees the blood moon shining down.....heads back to castle and towards the southern turret.....sits cross legged and falls into a deep meditation...I raise both arms with palms facing upward.....soon a pillar of deep red fire shoots down and enters my body.....I am riveted to the spot as the moon's BloodFire bathes me in pure energy....minutes pass into hours before I rise from my spot.....walks down from the turret...each step leaves a pool ol of flames behind me....

Angel, once she sees that Samba appears to be recuperating, turns away from her sis and goes to the window. the sight of the little gargoyles reminds her just a mite too much of Sappa's incarnations as a gargoyle...

Makes you want burn a village to the ground.* <Feeling he may get some peace and quiter under the sea he walks into the water and disappears into the waves.
