tired beyond belief, Angel checks that Ella's ok and then leans into Sappa's embrace and cries. she had thought to help her sister and now she was unsure as to where her sis was and whether she'd ever see her again.

feels the breeze as something not natural and raises hand to brush face. sees the feather and her eyes open wide. tucking it in Ella's swaddling, Angel gets up and stretches and heads for the hotel and some coffee and brekky to start the day. reminding herself to thank Sappa for his comfort when next she sees him.
