Greetings and felicitations... my name's sabis. i'm very happily married to my Dominant and Owner, Cumulus. i've been submissive most of my life, but until He and i met, i'd never had a venue to express the feelings i had within. He's been in the lifestyle for just shy of two decades, and practically melted me to goo with the first sound of His voice. It's been Happily Ever After ever since, practically, even though we're a clinical study in polar opposites.

We live in Oklahoma, and are newly part of our local community. i've been a member of Carter Steven's MDOM email group for about 5 years, and several other communities, though under a different user name. Some of my poetry and essays have been published in EZines and one poem made it to Carter's newsletter, which was heckacool. :-) i don't consider myself anything more than a newbie, though. i'm still learning a whole lot, not only about myself, but about my Master, and how our dynamic can strengthen our oaths to one another. Neither of us are trolling for contact; He sees this as a good opportunity for me to learn other perspectives and points of view.

i appreciate the opportunity to join the forum, and look forward to the expression of ideas and thoughts to be found here.

Welcome to CM :) Is MDOM still around??? Heck, is Carter Stevens still around...lol! Geez, that list must be a study in longevity.

I hope we have an opportunity to read some of your essays here on CM.

*grin* Yes, Carter's still around, although repeated ill health has kept him pretty quiet. [The piece of mine he published was "The ABCs of BDSM" which is a Dr. Suess-ish humorous bit i wrote in fall of 2000. ]

If folks are unfamilair with MDOM, and have, oh, i dunno, a few weeks with nothing better to do... reading the archives is an incredibly educational experience. MDom is one of the most longstanding is a Male Domination focused email groups still in existance. Like any email group, it has its weirdos, but there's also some wonderful folks there who have helped me understand a lot about this part of me i struggled with for so long. It's tagline is "A Non-serious forum for people who are seriously into BDSM". ([email protected])

Most of the regulars are still to be found. In general, the list has been dormant, other than a few rollercoaster-like spates of activity when stirred up by a "Mistress Michelle Peters" who seems to enjoy recreational chain-yanking and disrupting the vibe of the party in Carter's living room.
