Status: offline 		I meet a sub years ago that was into puppy play. He begged me to let him be my puppy.
I gave in. It didn't last more then 20 minutes. I made him get on all fours and eat canned dog food. While he was eating it I put foot on the back of his head and smashed his face in it.

No, I do not like puppy play.

Status: offline 		I actually enjoy it personally. (I'm not looking if you're blatantly trolling) I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that it's fun for a weekend. But as for 24/7 365...not my thing. I would rather have someone that is much more well rounded in regard to service but enjoyed it occasionally as much as I do.

Perhaps a dinner spent at my feet being fed bits of food from my plate. Or a frolic playing fetch or a walk in the (enclosed) backyard. A weekend spent as a precious pet at my feet. I prefer someone that is an overall companion to me and is capable of changing with the flow according to what type of mood I'm in at any given moment and time. So it's wonderful fun for a long weekend or for times on and off throughout the day (nothing like a happy puppy wriggling and tail wagging to greet me when I arrive home) but not something I would want as their only interest and ability.

Besides, I would probably already have a dog.

Puppy play is just that play.
I enjoy it for about 2 hours and then puppy play is over.

Whats the point? I keep slaves to make my life easier... what point would there be to keeping a boy or girl who have to be constantly attended to?  What could a 24/7 pet give me back in return?

I like puppy play a lot. I have fantasies of a world where slaves are bought and sold on the auction block, and I've had fantasies about being bought, in such a world, to be a human pet, something that would have become popular among rich eccentrics.
But they are just that -- fantasies. In reality, a couple of hours is fun. A weekend, as a very rare thing, could be fun, almost edgy to keep it up that long. But full time? I agree, I want more variety in my life than that.
I have known Doms who used the removal of human privileges, One at a time, as a training tool -- no using the furniture, no using the toilet, eating from a bowl -- one at a time, and continuing until the training was effective. But those slaves were not full time puppies, they just had certain puppy like rules thrust on them as discipline.

to my understanding'' pet 24/7 ''which is what i was ,(till she died)  is a slave but, w/ some privillage ,as in teachers pet etc....,w/ an understanding to remain taken care of ;someone that was wanted chosen;picked out ;trained to the liking;
a responsibility of the top ,to promise to keep you ,as property;life and death power,no higher than a pet and less than the real one ,if the top really has a real pet animal ,of course; and ,the whole 24/7 kept cute slave in a cage trip(maybe,a cage,cause  it always  depends on the cage floor) ,and, to  take care of you ,as they want to ,or abuse and neglect you ;you have no more privillage than  kept live stock but youre a close personal pet ,or peice of preferred property;
hopefully- your looks are cute
everyone likes to play ,w/ and show off cute pets
and,everyone will always  pick out the cutest pet amoung all the possibilities
and a pet is only something for companionship ;always loyal;unconditional love;acceptance;there when you want or need- all the time.
they own and or bot you , but, puppy animal immitations ,or doggie stuff  never enters into it ;that i can do an hour or two..., MAYBE ....
and i can do that alone too....(i often do.....,)
only if i lose my mind ,but only ,for a moment tho,but...''pet slave'' is an honor ,and a constant...,
not a doggie do fetch thing ,or puppy palor game; ya'  rite :
 bite me.

Status: offline 		The question isn't about being someone's puppy no matter - it was specifically about keeping someone on all fours and never allowing them to speak, etc.  I'm guessing that your puppy is allowed to walk upright and talk to you and use the toilet instead of the backyard.  If I'm wrong, please correct me - but your type of arrangement is not what the OP was asking about.

True enough. Just trying to give a bit of my reality to the OP. My point was suppose to be that both my submissive and I identify his relationship with me 24/7 as my puppy, again regardless of whether he's doing the typical puppy things the OP is focusing on, which, as most everybody has pointed out, is not "real world" realistic 24/7.

But I'm on vacation in NY at the moment, so maybe too much fun is interfering with my communication skills.
