I have to admit I love the chase.
Some turn out to be worth it most don't.
It's the journey that matters to me though not the destination.

There are some who thrill for the chase, and others who chase for the thrill.

There are some who will show an interest, flirt, and remain playfully just beyond reach. But they do not discourage you.

I noticed a statement in a profile the other day. It went something like this:

'Not everyone builds walls to keep people out ... some build walls to see who cares enough to break the walls down.'

I used to have a lot of walls, and I didn't know they were there. I used to have a lot of issues, and the walls were apparently a form of self preservation. I never let anyone (literally) past them.

They weren't there on purpose as some form of game playing, I just couldn't trust anyone
(long story).

Two years ago, I met Master, and with patience and endurance, he completely broke down
all of the walls. Not without a fight from me. He just wouldn't give up on me .

No wonder I'm in love for the first time in my life.

You keep playing. I "chased" Valyraen on and off for three or so years. About to hit two years and we ain't bored yet.
