***It is August! Time for our Ask A Master Roll Call!***
Is it really August already?
Time to share information, updates, etc.
 
It is amazing what an incredible time you can have on a vacation, and not leave your neighborhood.   I had tendonitis last month which is incredibly painful, but that is under control right now.  I am also dealing with an extremely stressful family situation, BUT! I am getting that under control.  **Please make a will, it is amazing how ugly and evil a family member can act when you are in a probate situation.**
   I don’t have any special submissive that I am involved with, and you know what?  I am extremely happy with being single now.  My time is limited and I am able to keep myself very occupied, albeit to busy actually.
I still hope plan to take a few courses soon, start cooking more, and about 5 other little life projects I want/need to pursue.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and I look forward to having other’s share a few updates.

I haven't moved or changed jobs this summer.  First time since 2001.  That kicks ass.

Here I am.  I loved hard and lost harder but I'm coming back around to realizing that I can't grieve forever and I hope Robert is not either.  Beyond that I picked up a part time pediatric home health job while I'm finishing up my MBA cause, well, we are broke.  I don't know why raising UMs can't come with a money tree in the back yard.

I plan with all hope that I make it, at least once to the Sins Center in Chicago this month because damn it, I deserve some nice public dungeon play!

Busy month last month having taken a young lady under consideration who unfortunatly couldn't in the end give the face to face time that she had committed to, so We parted company.

Now in the early stages of getting to know another young lady who has certainly caught My attention and our Dynamic seems to fit hand in glove.... If all goes well we should meet next week and looking likely things maybe move forward swiftly so long as that meeting goes the way all the rest of our contact has so far. [8D]

July was a really good month for Me.  I've continued with My goal of getting back into the community more and I feel that's been very successful.  I've been doing more casual play and those opportunities have been fabulous.  For those of you who followed the "Locks of Love" story that I've mentioned in other posts, let Me tell you that play date turned out to be exceptional!  That girl has a spot on My dance card anytime!  What a wonderful trip W/we both had, and I can not express My thanks to her enough.  Being the good (sadistic) samaritan that I am, I'll be filling some other requests to play at ARM on Saturday.
 
Speaking of upcoming events (though not for August), I'll be taking a stab at My first attempt at hosting an event in Atlanta in September.  The theme of the Naughty Nights event will be interrogation/role play, so you may see Me throwing some thoughts around the boards in the coming weeks.  I figure what better place to see how certain things will go over than to bounce ideas off of the fine folks here at Collar Me?  I'm really quite excited about the idea!
 
I still haven't had the fortune of finding the submissive that I seek, but good things come to Those who wait.  I've had a couple of very interesting prospects, but they turned out to be the 'poof' variety.  I'm starting to wonder if I scare them off.

Here I am chiming in.  Yes, I know I have posted before that I felt I had finally found the right fit with a new job.  This time I have changed fields for the most part...and have a lovely signed contract for new job, which I start mid month.  And none too soon since things at the present position have been way too much drama for me.  New job is more money (always very nice) and no on call with my weekends and holidays and evenings free again.

I have taken a short break from training my boys since my life has been like a rollercoaster the last 3  weeks with all the job changes and my husband also changing jobs and work hours.  Since they both also have family ties they were quite understanding of my need to take a breather from kink except for my mentors training.  We are more than half way through the year and, so far, it has been worth the work and commitment.

After the wettest July ever in Texas we have entered the dog days of August with a vengeance.  I feel as if I live in a steam room every time I step outside.  Personally I am looking forward to some slightly cooler days in the fall....and to attending Beyond Vanilla in Dallas at the end of Sept.

And thanks MzMia for attending to the roll call.  Glad you are recuperating from your travails and your positive attitude is an inspiration.

August already, yes.  And summer almost over. 
I took my spoiled pet to his first public dungeon 2 weeks ago.  It was a quiet night so we were able to get a space to hang him from a wall for a little fang & claw play.
Ren faires this month, one or two.

L.A. even if you haven't changed jobs, I think you would make THE most wonderful counselor!
You can specialize in alternative lifestyle counseling, you would make a fortune!

Psy, I have never been to a Ren faire, they look like fun.

Um.  I don't usually like to out myself too much.  I don't even blog or keep an online journal.  The past few months have been a rollercoaster, though so I will say the past 30 days have been the least traumatic and least amount of change I've experienced in nearly a year.

Oh here is the roll call!
I missed it and I thought you were no longer doing it.
Glad to see it back.

I am enjoying a very busy summer.
My submissive and I are discussing moving in together,
at the end of the year.
This will be a major step for both of us.
If we move in together, we will also probably be getting engaged,
and looking for a house.
These are big steps, but I love him very much and he is all that I have
ever wanted in a partner.
That is all I have to report this month!

Hmm... not much going on here, really.  Running myself broke on the house restoration projects, still single.  Had the son in for a visit earlier, now both kids are together in California with their mom - the daughter will be home in about 2 weeks. I'm still boring and grumpy, but the tan is really good this year.
