Well, we held our opening party last night - smaller than anticipated turnout, but a good time all in all. Highlights for me included "breaking" my masochist friend - well, getting him to use a safeword anyway; he's one of those fairly unresponsive types - lots of dancing on his toes, a fair few gasps but otherwise nothing so it had become something of a challenge! The two tailed rubber whip thing did it in the end - its evil (I love it!). Our "piggy" didnt turn up in the end - so my friend's subby hubby put the mask on; which led to endless giggles for me as its so lifelike and his piggy antics were just perfect. So today I'm exhausted - not just from the party, but from the running around to get everything ready. And now I have all the housework from yesterday to do today. Where are all the maids when you need one? (tending their sore bottoms, presumably!) E

Yeah you! I know that there was a great deal of work involved to culminate in last night. Don't forget to soak it all in and be proud of all the hard work that went into achieving it. Wonderful to hear that it went well and I'm sure there was an abundance of discovering what seems to be a hundred little more details to be worked on no doubt. What a wonderful journey and endeavor you've started down. I wish you much success and discovery throughout! Again, Yeah YOU!

Oh Seeks....... actually its a copy of Helga's uniform from "Allo Allo" - we have a film props shop down the road now where one can get anything and everything, though the hat doesnt quite fit it. You should see the two of us together on the other shots we took that night....fuehrerinific! in fairness though, they were more for fun than anything else (the clothes) - we'd planned a day out on the 40s weekend at the Severn Valley, but what with the rain....... (and its definitely die Brille - leider sind meine Augen schoen aber nutzlos ohne). E

You might be right - I do need some new ones too. Maybe you could come to Specsavers with me as my personal styling consultant? Mind you, with that hat in your pic, I'm not so sure LOL! E

Congratulations! [sm=flowers.gif] It sounds like you had a really good time. I wish that I got to see the subby piggy hubby (which is just fun to say out loud), it sounds like the whole scene was hysterical.
