umum, because it is much cheaper than a therapists?

not really.. i swear..

amusement, friends, frustration (in all its wonderous forms), amazement (after 3 years i am still sometimes utterly stumped at some of the nonsense that comes into my box) stress relief (torturing the senders of said nonsense), relief of occasional boredom. and maybe on the off chance of a click.

I came so I could listen and learn from others. Me and my dh have been toying around with this stuff for a few years but we have been alone. I thought it would be nice to get a little more involved.

I like to flock, and the feathers are pretty nice too.

Truly, I come here to feel part of something.
Kinda like standing outside a fine resaurant, and looking in at all the beautiful people.

And, yes, I do happen to be seeking, so I like being here for that reason, too. (This, however, is NOT a troll thread!) I'm sure I'm leaving a lot of things out, because there are a lot of levels for which I want to be here.

So, the question is, why are you here?

I'm here to talk to people with similar interests and activities as well as learn more.

When I first came here, I never posted. I only used the other side and I was here to meet someone.

Now, I would still like to meet someone, but I am here a lot using the boards. I like to mingle around with other pervs like me and I also enjoy a lot of the threads and conversations. There are particular posters who have actually had a profound affect on certain views that I have held in the past, that have now shifted or changed. I've also forged a few friendships. It's all good from where I'm sitting.

I'm here mostly for the forums.

When I first joined, there were less than 100 people here. I've left for months on end when life got busy but I always seem to come back.

It's the most awesome thing to me, that so many are gathered primarily for 'kink WIITWD' yet the forums have a huge variety of topics. That's da best part. Seeing the world through others eyes and experiences. Kink that I won't ever do but am intrigued by, moral codes not my own... all of it that is different from me is stuff I love to read.
Since I was collared wayyyy before I found CM I've never gone through the 'seeking others' part, sometimes it is hard to read about others that get so frustrated and feel so alone. I always hope that they at least feel a link for their kink (hehehe) at least in a vicarious way here.
I can't count the people that I would like to meet in RL, there is a long list of those! I've found a lot here that I didn't expect, a lot more sense of board community & unity. I like it here a lot. Even if I only get to meet a few folks from here I get the value of their thoughts via the forums.
In RL I physically have trouble talking after a bit (TMJ) and this is a great outlet for my pent up words lol. Infact CM is really a link to the world for me because I have to spend the majority of my time in bed

is all I can say. The freedom of being able to communicate for as long as my fingers hold out is something I genuinely appreciate. Heh that too is why some of my posts end up very long. I'm fulla...................

There is much more of CM that I like, than dislike.

This Site offers varying experiences from a cross section of people. People who attempt to post a well thought out message. Theres humor good and ill will all toosed together in the same salad What more could anyone ask for?

Mostly I'm here for the same reason I'm on B.com and IRC, to maintain a connection with the BDSM community in lieu of going to outings and events. Living in rural communities sucks.

And I'm always on the look out for the chance to build a long-term relationship. Ya never know when and where you might meet somebody.

Came here to learn more about the lifestyle,and to explore my submissive side and see where it takes me.CM came highly recommended from a Dom friend that uses the otherside mostly,he knows I like a community type forums for the debates;So I came,and liked what I saw and decided to stay.And even though I rarely participate
in the actual discussions,I am learning and understanding things more and more all the time.With such a diverse group of people all with views and opinions of their own it helps me to keep my mindset open to all ideas possibilties instead of becoming stagnant.

I joined the other side because I needed a BDSM fix in the worst way. And then I saw there were forums and since I love forums (I've been a moderator on several in my vanilla life) I jumped in here. For the most part I lurk because usually by the time I've read something, my opinion has already been stated...
