I have a cover of "Shot through the Heart" by Atrayu that I would love to use, but I am thinking that most subs would find it distracting especialy if they are Bon Jovi fans that have never heard it.

phin,

there is an amazing 80s mix with a drum and base style backing, has You SHook Me All Night Long, You Give Love a Bad Name, Enter Sandman, and Right Now by van halen, its not a totally great scene song due to it being a remix of 6 songs but if your like me and love music of all kinds, it would be amazing to listen to... Also thanks for the cudos on the verbage to discribe this thread topic...

Mike

that would be interesting to hear, do you have the name of the band that does it?

cudos go where they belong, I got a good chuckle out of that.

I honestly don't know the DJ that produced it, the track its self is all the origional artists... which makes it extra cool... I will ask a bro of mine when I can to see who does it but I got my copy off limewire

my Master and i usually pick music we both like, manson, type o negative, union underground, insane clown posse, twiztid, and dark lotus are very common for us. some times we like 80's hair metal we even scened to jazz and blues a few times. it really all depends on the mood we're in.

Lots of good ideas here. I feel it is best to think about the tenor of the play and decide the soundtrack with that in mind. I helpfully supplied a Dead Can Dance CD for a play party and everybody loved it. This is good for dark, sensual play. The needle play at that party went with the music perfectly.

I've not seen Delerium mentioned yet - it's perfect. Collide is good. Old "A split second" is quite good for an intense scene (especially the "Kiss of Fury" album, the song Firewalker). Disturbed is always an excellent choice, especially the album "Ten Thousand Fists".

Ok, I've seen a few of these threads, and I might have mentioned I'm weird music wise. Here's my latest scene compilation:
Breakdown Dead Ahead - Bozz Skaggs
Chrome Plated Heart - Melissa Ethridge
Whipping Post - Alman Brothers
Pressure- Billy Joel
Addicted to Love - Robert Palmer
I Touch Myself - Divinyls
I'm the Only One - Melissa Ethridge   (That first album, good stuff)
Peter Gunn Theme - John Lee Hooker
Sweet Dreams - Eurithmics
Heartless - Heart
Devil Inside - INXS
On the Dark Side - John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band
Hurt So Good - John Cougar Mellancamp
Bring Me Some Water - Melissa Ethridge
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
No Sugar Tonight - The Guess Who

Yeah, I know its really long, but sometimes I play long. Now you can all go wonder about me.
Joseff
