i'm a brat, and proud of it! It's things like being able to wrestle around with my Owner when he's trying to tickle me, or pin me down. It's tossing a pillow at him when he's razzing me about something, or playfully slapping him when he tosses an insulting remark my way with a grin. It's being a smart ass when he says something that leaves himself wide open for a remark, or laughing at him when he says something then immediately tells me to shut up or don't think it. my Owner knows me well, and i know him. Just because i belong to him doesn't mean we have to be serious all the time. i know my place, and i know where the line is drawn. i know when i've stepped over it, and i know the look he gets when i'm close to touching it. i don't do it to act out, or to get attention. And i certainly don't do it to get punished.

No... i'm a brat simply because it's part of my playful nature. And my Owner has told me several times that he wouldn't have me any other way. It doesn't make me high maintenance or difficult, and it doesn't mean i'm disobedient. It just means i'm a match for my Owner's personality.

Interesting question..

To my mind a true brat would be a submissive or slave who continually pushed, argued with & aggrevated their Dominant while refusing to even look at or work on the issues that the "bratting" was stemming from.
