OwnedShylah -> Sex workers in the BDSM and D/s lifestyles (8/5/2007 5:21:20 PM)

I am an escort.

I work for an outcall agency doing one on one calls and parties, mainly… There are also times where I’m asked to do a Pro Domme call. I have received money for sex and I am not ashamed.

I am clean and healthy, both Master and I get tested for select things, such as HIV, every 6 months and we get a full screenings once a year year.

I have made peace with my chosen profession and I enjoy the freedom it gives me.

Master has never pushed me to whore myself or not. He is just there to be my support after a hard day of work.

My question is, who else here has worked in the sex industry?

How did you get into it?

 What were your experiences?

How did it make you feel?

What did your Master/Mistress or sub/slave think of it?

Shylah

I am not a sex worker, but thank you for starting an interesting thread.

MilkMaidDomme -> RE: Sex workers in the BDSM and D/s lifestyles (8/5/2007 5:55:49 PM)

A man tried to recruit me to work for his escort service in Albuquerque a number of years ago...told me all that I was required to do was go to dinner, have conversation...said anything else that happened was entirely my choice.  I declined his offer because I did not believe him.  Face it, the majority of men who call escort services are planning on paying for sex, or at least that is my opinion...and I would really rather pick and choose who I am going to spend my time with, take to bed, and money is not a deciding factor...take it or leave it.  MMD

I agree, most men calling escorts are looking for sex.

I have never had a "dinner date" or a call where we just cuddle and watch a movie. If a man wanted that they could call a friend up to hang out.

I would also like to add that, in SLC at least, it is rear that the men calling for escorts are young or attractive.

Everyone craves love and intimacy, what sex worker sell is the fantasy and experience.

I am a fantasy maker for many lonely men.

I was an independent.  My master encouraged it, but I got into it on my own.

My experiences are great and varied, but mostly of the one on one private variety.

It made me feel great to have that money and freedom.  It made me realize just how prudish the kink community is and how they look down on it just as much as vanillas do.

It helped me embrace my sacred whore self.  I choose to no longer actively whore for random strangers, but that is because I will now only engage in acts of whoring where it is a fully aware and spiritual connection for all involved.

I had a lot of those actually.  My clients actually were NOT the type who could call a friend and hang out with.  They were usually very well off types who worked too hard and travelled too much to have serious relationships but occasionally wanted the companionship without the demand.

Just wanted to say I have never looked down on sex workers.  Quite the opposite, in fact.  My only concern is the risk of exposure to disease that is the unfortunate affliction of the profession.  Beyond that I see nothing wrong with it in of itself.

And Pro Domes wonder why people see them as prostitutes while they vehemently deny sex takes place. How is one know the difference?  Do you make the distinction for the customer that you are a prostitute just playing a part?  If I was a Pro Domme, I'd be pissed if you did not.

Hey.. it's okay you feel this way, so don't get me wrong.. but I'm a little confused.  How is the act of whoring oneself out to strangers sacred/spiritual for you?

If you're joking, okay.. just trying to be senstive if this isn't the case.

Not joking at all.

My answer has two parts.

A)  What makes any act sacred/spiritual?

B)  Read this:

Well there's no reason a person can't be a pro dom AND a whore.

And I've never understood why pro's get pissy at being compared to prostitutes except that it is a different profession.  I recognize the legal dangers pro's have in being associated with prostitution, but they really seem to get all wound up over nothing big.

CuriousLord -> RE: Sex workers in the BDSM and D/s lifestyles (8/5/2007 7:55:29 PM)

That's a far better answer than I was expecting.

So, tell me, why did you decide to serve Sex?

LotusSong -> RE: Sex workers in the BDSM and D/s lifestyles (8/5/2007 7:55:34 PM)

It'll be interesting to see the pro's comments.  Ladies?

I have NEVER had sex with a domination client... it's a diffret style of work. But you have to be stupid to not realizre that at the very least a Pro Domme is giving jerk of materail.

I do know Pro Dommes who do have sex... but that's thire buisness.

What is the difference between getting paid to have sex in front of a camera, with a stranger, and getting paid to have sex in a privet hotel room?

The only difference I can think of is that one is legal and the other isn't.

In Nevada where they have legal Brothels there was a study done on the STI/STD rate of the working girls... the rates of girls contracting any STI/STD was lower the general population. If you use a condom and get regular check ups it's not Russian rulet. The STI/STD rate in the porn industery is higher then in the escorting industery.

Note: I said ESCORT, meaning high priced women who work for agencys or brothels. I am not taking about street walkers. I am not talking about the junky fucking bear back behind a dumpster for $20.

Like I said, I'll look forward to the Pro's opinion of your activities in  the name of domination.  The fact remains, you are a prostitute doing domination calls.  And you would have to be stupid to think what you do has no repercussions on the real Pros.

Also, if you are so secure in your opinion of what you do, my comments should be of absolutely no relevance to you.

I'm just giving my perspective. I'm not saying that everyone does what I do.

But when I have the chance to do a Domme call I take it. They are a change. Most of the time I don't even take my clothes off. For the work put into it Domme calls make the most money. That is why I take them.

I am not clameing to be an "all mighty mistress to all slaves" I am a submissive for my Master in RL and have no desier to change that. Being a Domme for an hour is a fantasy for both the client and my self.

Shylah
