corsetgirl -> Thai cops wearing hot pink Hello Kitty armbands (8/6/2007 9:17:03 PM)

Below is the email article:

http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2007/08/bad-cops-to-wea.html

Would this humiliation tactic be effective in correcting bad habits?  I am curious and would like to have some feedback from doms, subs and switches.

Thank you.

That would *SO* not work on me. I would also indicate my preference for Chococat...

Hello Kitty? Meh...

Does anyone remember "Hell Kitty" by Jim Yowsling in the Weekly?

Uh, what is a Chococat?

Thank you for your input anyway as I did not know what a Chococat really was, maybe another country's version of Hello Kitty?  But that is okay, I guess rudeness is a part of society these days....sigh.

http://www.sanrio.com/characters/

These are all characters from the same company: Sanrio of Japan. They make stuff for children branded with their various characters.

Sure, maybe I'm rude. But you don't even know the subject of the thread ultimately, you don't understand the context. Any serious discussion of this has to include the context in which these cartoon characters exist.

corset girl was asking about the possibilities of using armbands as a form of humilation..re the article....not the geeky indepth knowledge of japanese childrens toy brands...the context seemed to me...did making men who considered themselves macho or manly wear armbands with girlie kids images work as a punishment?

SugarMyChurro -> RE: Thai cops wearing hot pink Hello Kitty armbands (8/7/2007 8:26:32 AM)

I think you have your answer - although I don't consider myself "macho" or "manly" or any other label that is basically bullshit.

There is no across the board thing that humiliates everyone. You have to work to get inside someone's head to find out what those things are if that's your goal.

As I was just explaining to a curious vanilla friend of mine, and Im sure most of you already know and understand, you have to tailor the punishment to the person. I know some people would be mortified wearing that. Others wouldnt give a damn.

One sub I know used to go absolutely ballistic if anyone mentioned making him wear a hot pink collar.
