So Elle, Kat and I are meeting with the guy who will do Kat's branding tonight.  I am rather excited, and if I allow the Super-Dom mask to drop a bit, a bit nervous as well.  This is the first slave I have ever branded, and while this has always been a strong fantasy of mine, the reality is never what you imagine.

I have read all of the safety and procedure threads, so I am not looking for that.  If you have any stories or ideas or even some general well-wishes, feel free to throw them in this thread.  Otherwise, take it as the meaningless ramblings of a dom about to get something he has wanted for a very long time. *smile*

Congrats on your upcoming branding of your Slave Kat. And I do understand having some trepidition over it but I am sure it will all work out.
Just remember, you are as deserving of seeing it done as she is of having earned it. Good fortune for you and your household.

I can imagine the many trepidations going through your head, a permanent mark like a brand is a VERY serious committment, both in the relationship sense of marriage but in the "oh shit this doesn't rub off" way as well.

My only wish is that I was there to feel the energy and love.

i am happy for both you & Kat.  :)
i think it is a powerful thing to find someone who you can trust, and love enough to want to wear their brand.  I hope to find that one day myself.

Very exciting. I hope all goes well! Congratulations on making it to this point--presumably, this indicates that you're all very confident in and committed to one another.

Congratulations!  A couple of years ago this August my owner branded me.  It was something we talked about and planned for a few years and it was important to us that he did it with his hand and I really underestimated how much it impacted my enslavement towards him (in a very postive way).  There is something about missing layers of flesh in the shape of someones initial that just..... solidified that I am his.

And even now my owner likes to just idly run his fingertips over the brand (its like an embossed/raised mark) when we are just lying around.  I think for him its also a constant visual re-affirmation, much more than my labia piercing that I got for him, that I am his.
