Status: offline 		Day after day, another story, another thread, all under the category command of "General Discussion." Who is this guy? Why have we heard nothing about him? What did he achieve as a Colonel that made him a General? What about his life? And does "Private Chat" report to him?

Like Soviet author Yury Tynyanov's Lieutenant Kijé, I think this "General" is merely fictional. I mean, the guy doesn't even have a profile, yet there he is, on site after site. What's going on?

It's time for a revolution!

Status: offline 		Upon research, I discovered that General Discussion is the brother of General Admission, father of Major Disturbance and cousin to Corporal Punishment.  Private Chat and Private Message (the twins) were a couple generations later, I believe.

At the same time, he has no profile on any of these sites—a mystery. So, when I was granted an interview with the General (I’m sorry, but conditions of the interview precluded sharing specifics), I was understandably elated:
