I just realized I've posted about 18 posts in one day. I just joined yesterday and today I've been riveted to the messsage board.

I swear I either have rigor mortis setting in, or I grew roots while planted in my recliner scouring the message board posts and running back to collarme.com to see if someone new sent me an email!

I'm going to go do something..ANYTHING that is off this computer and away from collarme.com

Any minute now! Seriously!

I wonder how quicky I can run to the store and be back?

Ok, going now.

I did exactly the same thing when I first got here, for about a week and a half.

Now I check once a day, or basically when I check other email.

lol they are fun, no doubt. I work online all day...so this is so easy for me between bathing UMs, fixing dinner etc.

Enjoy the addiction while it lasts, it will, as SayaNereida points out, fade over time and a lot faster than one might imagine.

Well, considering I have 1847 posts, that means I have averaged 15 posts a day.
Granted, I've had a fair bit of spare time lately, and type quickly, but I can sympathize.
It's a forum where interesting topics pop up daily, and with a fair number of good posters.

As for me, I'm not currently active on any particularly interesting forums, and use either Opera or Firefox as my Internet browser, so I have a seperate window with tabs for the threads that I'm following at the moment. That way, I can just check in from time to time, when I would otherwise have a spare minute. Beats keeping the TV set on in the background, and there's only so much that I can exercise in a day until the docs undo the damage they did to my body. Interactive, kinky, and occasionally a bit intellectually stimulating ... certainly fits the bill for an addictive way to kill time.

But, as SaraNereida said, the initial fascination wears off.
I'm a lot more picky about threads now than when I first started.
Most of the threads can be predicted accurately by looking at the topic.

I'm also a 'Yellowjacket.' I know there just isn't a damn thing to do in that town. It's part of why I moved.

Yes, the town is small, with nothing to do. So small in fact that I happened to get pulled over for a busted tail light on my truck, and by the time I made it the three blocks home I had 2 cars pulled into my driveway with well wishing friends saying they 'heard' I'd been pulled over.

That was my excitement for tonight. I don't think I'll worry about online BDSM Message Board addictions. It could be so much worse. I could have nothing to do but stare out my window and call the neighbors to tell them someone else was pulled over by the police.

The police officer was cute though :)

Ahhhh I do remember how the neighbors all sat around listening to the new fangled CB radio, to see who was being pulled over where.

I'm sure those damned teenagers are still 'cruisin the strip' and the line dancing is just warming up at Huck's. In fact, if I press my ear to the window... I can just... yes! I can make out the sound of a cow being tipped....

Nope sweety, Some of us get tired of regurjitating (sp?) the same stuff over and over, and especially when i know someone is going to say the exact same thing i would and sometimes even better then i would.

Huck's now has Karoke thank you ver much. Only took 10 years to jump on that bandwagon. Good 'ole Huck ran for Congress, again, and lost again. I think the kids quit cruising the strip and started hanging out in my home. Damn slackers.

As for cow tipping. Noisy bazturds! The first time I heard a milking cow at 4 am in the morning I would have bet good money the farmer was doing all manner of illegal things to the poor creature.

Can't for the life of me comprehend why you moved away :)
