Even if a man opens a door for a woman because she is a woman, it still doesn't look like he is being sexist to me. Do you really think that men do it because they believe the woman can't open the door for themselves?
Look at the first part, the adjective. They are doing it on the basis of sex- because they are the men and that's what men do.
Now, one can do those things for that reason AND non-sexist reasons, and whether something is sexist or not doesn't mean it's automatically good or bad as well.
Master ALWAYS opens doors for me and she is a woman. i open doors for people too, men and women. i don't think it's a sexist thing at all. i think people (men and women) do this without thinking just to be polite or just out of habit.
