For me...humiliation usually taken the form of being made to beg for something that I've always viewed as being really dirty. Begging to be pissed on. Being examined intimately. Made to place my cheek on the floor with my ass raised up, exposed. Things like that. The end result is absolute excitement for me. It gets me very aroused. I think it's the reminder that I like things that "good girls" shouldn't.

I’ve always considered humiliation play to be emotional masochism. Which is a very difficult dance. The reason being as Simply Michael said there is a line which can’t be crossed with out doing permit damage to the person. The scary part is, you don’t always know where that line is until you fall across it and one partner is now in tears. Some things are very obvious, such don’t call a person fat while others can be the mental associations of certain words. An example of this for me is whore and slut, if I’m in the mood for humiliation; whore is just so yummy to hear while if my partner calls me a slut I’m out of my happy fog and bordering on having a breakdown. SimplyMichael, are you referring to her essays in Wild Side Sex? At any rate, Midori's essays and classes on humiliation are quite good, especially insofar as they encourage both tops and bottoms who do humiliation to understand where their boundaries are. Note that that involves the tops having boundaries, too, which I find a very important point.

For me humiliation play can be anything from being repremanded in front of others, to having to sing, it can also be something like having to say I like something that i'm embarassed to like. Humiliation will be diferent for different people, talk to whoever your playing with and get to know what really embarasses them. Or play around with it have them do things or do things to them and watch how they react hehe. Have fun.
