I was training store personnel in a bakery in FL years ago and a woman who barely spoke english came in to order a cake for her daughter --whse name was Female...I kid you not--at least they fancied it up a little and said it like Fimalie

Perhaps a bit too much internet chat going on with the parents?

Personally, I would go with "Star-Shines Brightly", but that’s just me.

I was going to ask my father the next time I saw him, but since you brought it up; what does the “H” stand for?

I think parents who do that are just looking to have their kids hate them even more when they become teenagers.

TRUE stories from my teaching days...

Kids at my school were named:

Harry Head
Penny Head (at least she can change her name upon marriage)
Ben Dover
Crissmas Noelle Carrol II (female, named after her mother)
Richard Dick

I just don't know what the parents of these kids were thinking! <sigh>

Sadly, I also once knew a Mr Richard Dick. I also knew a Sally Fouks at school and worked with a guy named David Hardnob. Why he didn't change it by deed poll is beyond me.

I went to elementary school with a guy named Dick Cox...I've always wondered why his parents didn't just call him Ricky.

Poor guy, he was the smelly kid too...

It is just more eveidence that people today need to have some sort of test before giving birth.
People without any common sense, or empathy for their children.  Should they be allowed
to riddle the world with more like them?

You must have some strong connections to have known that. Hey wait, he said "Jesus H. Christ" not Jesus H H H H Christ. You wouldn't lie to me; would you?

I knew a guy named Harry Ball. He has feet like a hobit.

People seem to think that parents have all the rights when it comes to naming their children, but what sort of person would put their own ego before the future happiness of their child?  These parents are more interested in their 15 minutes of acting like spoiled attention whores rather than doing what they know is best.

Calling a kid 4Real?  Yeah, I'm sure they really give a shit about what the child is gonna think about it a couple years down the line.
