SweetyBoy -> An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/9/2007 6:03:15 PM)

Hi Everyone,

I have an idea about a male contraceprion device and I thought it may interest people in femdom oriented group :-)

It is a plug, which is put into urethra. It is bendable, made from a flexible material – plastic. When a man ejaculates, the sperm does not get out, but goes through perforated pipe to the bladder.

You can see the pages about it http://malecontraception.googlepages.com/

or you can join a yahoo group at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/malecontraception/

Yours
SweetyBoy

oh that's a great idea since the bladder is a "sterile" system.  There are reasons ejaculate comes out and doesn't stay in beyond procreation.  I could type hundreds of reasons why this is simply bad.

ok, the device would be "for one time use" or sterilizable - by boiling in the water perhaps.

earthycouple -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/9/2007 6:44:47 PM)

it isn't about sterilizing the device, it's about cum in your bladder.

PrincessinLatex -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/9/2007 6:46:42 PM)

If there were no ejaculate fluid. . .then the sub in question would go without an after cum snack. . .. and THAT borders on abuse!

darchChylde -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/9/2007 7:47:41 PM)

i've cum wearing a cock ring, where there is little or no external seminal excretions; from my understanding, this causes the cum to go into the bladder

ok, here's the problem... it doesn't just stay there, it f*cking hurts when it comes back out, there is no way to convince myself that it's a good kind of hurt... also, it tends to hang out a bit in the head end of the urethra until it breaks down or manages to find it's way out; this causes several sessions of urination to be quite painful, and messy if you're not sitting... add to this, that while it's hanging out in the head of your cock; you'll still have pain there, even if it's not that bad; having such a constant awareness of your penis can cause an erection... a very painful erection

stop looking for an easy out, keep your dick in your pants or use a condom

if that doesn't work for you, try this

insert either head for the same effectiveness

Oh my goodness.

I have said and thought this many many times.

I just honestly don't get the surprise pregnancy especially in the kinky community.

There are so many ways to experience orgasm and so many wonderful tools now that are readily available. So many choices why chose the one that carries the greatest risk?

I mean, we made a choice to not have offspring so we also decided not to have traditional intercourse. Results? Zero risk of unwanted pregnancies in my house.

I do not have fewer orgasms, I do not feel distant from my partners, and they don't have fewer orgasms either. We use our creativity and the rest of our bodies to experience pleasure.

I mean, come on, even if you use all the protections in the world, there is still some risk as long as you have functioning organs. How much of a surprise can it honesty be?

One of my friends husbands has a condition called retrograde ejaculation -- they figured that was as good as being sterile. Guess what? It only took one and now they are just a couple any more.

To get back to the OP, I do support any method of attempting to decrease the risk of unwanted pregnancies for men as well as women. I think it is very wise to know what you want and to try and exercise as much control over that as you feel you can or want but I think since it takes two (as they saw) it should take two to moderate any risks.

1 word: vasectomy (if you o not want more children or if you don't want shildren at all)

BeachMystress -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/10/2007 2:30:53 AM)

There are some possible side effects associated with retrograde ejaculation, including urinary tract infections and incontinence. Personally I'd talk with a doctor before trying something like this with someone I loved.. or even just liked.

Just so you know, some information on that site is incorrect.

Vasectomies ARE reversible, with a high success rate.

Also, for a lot of men, this would be very painful, or at best uncomfortable, to insert and wear O.o I'd definitely prefer a condom.

I agree. I think one who is considering this device would find it useful to research retrograde ejaculation. Learning about it caused me to give up the closest men can get to achieving multiple orgasms ;-)

Cheers,

Sea

lmao...that's what my husband said when I read the OP to him...hehe

PairOfDimes -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/10/2007 4:26:34 PM)

I don't think that's good, but I don't have an MD or DO. I don't think the semen came from the bladder, and it's generally not good to make your bodily fluids back up into the body, especially when it's going to the wrong place.

earthycouple -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/10/2007 5:53:49 PM)

Semen definately does not start in the bladder, Pair.  And you are quite correct, very dangerous.

MzAri -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/10/2007 7:56:31 PM)

Why put the health of a perfectly good slave at risk with that device when condoms and vasectomies are available and so much safer?

Miss D....

i'd have to gently disagree.  while i DO agree that this idea for male contraception is a bad thing (all i can see is the device shooting out of the man like a bullet through a gun!) i've known two gentlemen that umm...shot backwards.

both of them, it was a temporary situation, both caused by catherization during surgery.  one gentleman, it eventually resolved itself, the other gentleman went on to have more problems....mostly esthetic though.

Putting aside for a moment the many medical issues of damaging the male urethra and ensuring a sterile device and sterile procedure when inserting and removing it, I would question the numbers of average males who would actually opt for using it.

It is difficult enough to get many males to use condoms for their stated reasons of loss of sensitivity and slippage. I can just imagine the reaction when this device is suggested.  "You want me to put THAT in my WHAT???"  I think any customers for it would be limited to only those who are into urethral play with sounds and catheters.

SweetyBoy -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/11/2007 12:24:37 PM)

Thanks everybody for their input. I see there are discussed following problems:
  • Possible cause of the infection:
Yes - this is a risk, but the problem is solvable, if the device would be sterille. Caterizing is done in hospitals and there are also people who are practicing cathetrizing as a sex practice, so it seems this can be done safely. There also perhaps would have to be some tool for inserting it into penis so it would remain sterile also during inserting.
  • Retrograde ejaculation -
    - According to the wikipedia
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retrograde_ejaculation
"Retrograde ejaculation is considered harmless as the only negative effect is the loss or reduction in fertility" - it is purpose in this case.

Obviously, this would have to be discussed with doctors, and a research would have to be made before the device could be produced.
  • Inconvenience for men (or the usage would be even painful) - any conraception brings some inconvenience. I believe thast it would be true at the begining. When a men would get used on it, it would be ok.

loss or reduction in fertility?  the possibility of loss of fertility?  most guys would like to leave that option open, not play with things that can make them steril... i've experienced retrograde ejaculation, it's not fun at all

before continuing in this vein, try it; put a tight cockring on, and masurbate a few times and let it back up for you; then tell us how you feel about it... there is a difference between harm and hurt, my friend

inconvenient? have you ever thought about how sensitive your penis is?  start shoving things in your urethra and tell us how long it takes you to get used to it

SweetyBoy -> RE: An idea about a male contraceprion device (8/11/2007 12:42:28 PM)

ok, for men it would be a little uncomfortable - but so very bad it woud be only at the begining I think. In a Femdom relationship, what is contaception would Lady choose?
  • She is taking pills, and risks her health by eating potertially dangerous hormones
  • Vasectomy - a surgery, OK, it can be reverible, but not reversible for sure and can mutiliate the man
  • Using a condom, (which is , I think so far the best contraception used), but in a long-term relationship where is much smaller risk of sexual diseases - people may feel isolated and it could also be inconvenient to use the condom.
  • The device - where there is the inconvenience only for a man, but no inconvenience for Her - she can enjoy the sex the best I think
