I meant that it would be a purpose for the time when it is used, not purpose making a man infertile permanently. Ok I agree that the retrograde ejaculation and the loss of fertility could be a serious problem.

But the question still is - would this device have the same efect as putting ring on penis - will the retrograde ejaculation remain also after removing the device?

Hm. The idea doesn't sound practial, too much potential for injury and whatnot. Besides, by the time you finish developing/testing/getting approval for it, hopefully one of the following will already be available on the market:

Vas-occlusive contraception
Reversible Inhibition
Adjudin (male Pill)

Alternatively, there's always abstinance and outercourse.

likely, if this does not cause some sort of permanent damage; the semen will go back through it's normal channels; but there will still be semen in the bladder, and pissing cum is not fun
