Bless his heart, my boy gives shopping with me his all.

Every other boytoy I've ever had has balked at going into Victoria's Secret with me, but not this one... he followed me in, stuck close to me, and endured about half an hour of me ooh-ing and aah-ing over panties.  He even let me teach him how to shop in there -- i.e., the panty and bra drawers underneath the displays organized by size, instead of having to dig through their nice and neat tables to find your size.  Of course he started looking a little nervous when I started shopping for panties for him, but I think that's to be expected... [:D]

And that's what I love about shopping with him.  He's receptive to everything I have to teach him.  I spent two hours in a shoe store teaching him to identify what constitutes a "cute shoe" and by the end he seemed to have a pretty good grasp on it.  I figure it can only make birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas-es all the less scary for him if he wants to pick up a gift for me!

The only problem is we need to work on his stamina... I can shop from morning till night, but I think I wear him out by mid-afternoon!

I hate shopping of any kind.  If something can't be delivered, most of the time I won't buy it.  So a sub who likes to go shopping without me would be great.  Otherwise, there's always UPS, FedEx, the USPS, and Safeway.com.

My understanding is that some hetero men would honestly almost rather be shot than have to go shopping, while others don't mind - and then there are some who apparently really enjoy shopping.

I would almost rather be shot than go clothes shopping.  Clothes are Not My Thing. My current subbie doesn't love it either, but I think he hates it somewhat less than I do.

As a straight submissive male,. i have always wanted to go shopping with a special woman and, even if she chooses to, be accompanied by a female friend of her’s. It would be my job to cater to them as either of them sees fit,  buckle them in the car.  Drive them around,  open the doors for them,  hold their coats, and or,  hold their bags.  Go fetch for them.  Go stand in lines at the checkouts.  Make runs to the car with their bags  est,.  As they leisurely set to take a break,  enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and take a  break.  i would have to run errands for them..
At lunch they could just pick a table, then set and talk some more, wile I go fetch their lunch. As they talk and enjoy their lunch, they could send me on errands and or, send me to the car with their bags. When i report back to the table,... i would pick up after them
When they shop for shoes, I could knee to put the shoes on them. No mater how many they wish to compare the shoes to, I would be there to put them on for them and,… to go get or put the shoes back as they saw fit.

Your right that many men don't like to shop but when us girls go shopping we'll still see guys waiting on chairs and looking bored while their ladies shop so it's no different for a slave except you've got a guy who you can tell to carry your bags for you. I love taking a slave along when I go shopping especially when I go shopping for lingerie because I can tease him with sexy outfits and bring him into the change room with me. ha ha!!

Uhhhhh.....mark me as the type that will remove you from the will if you demand I go shopping.

Further....mark me as someone who will see to it that you are excluded from any possible increases in the values of communally held real estate if you even ask.

wyldfae -> RE: Do many submissive men go shopping for clothes w/their Mistresses? (4/7/2008 11:20:09 PM)

That's one thing my mistress likes about me is i want to go shopping with her because i have creativity and a good sense of fashion for her. she also likes i'm more organized for her,,also if i'm good...then we go dress shopping where i can watch her try on something :)

i don't mind shopping for clothes for my wife... as is often said regarding art, i may not know much about fashion, but i know what i like [:)] Not just fetish clothing, of course, but everyday and work stuff. i do wish that more stores had the sense to put chairs outside the dressing rooms.
On the other hand, i hate shopping for clothes for myself... mens clothes are no fun

I agree with petdave, sometimes clothes shopping for myself is boring unless i can find something interesting that i can turn into something i like(cutting the cuffs from a dress shirt so the ends will unravel) or it's geared to something i can wear out on dance night

This might be along the "silly question" line, and I have a new submissive man I am interested in who doesn't like shopping (not the way most women I know like it anyway) - and that's fine, I like him a lot anyway - and it's not an "issue" between us.

I am simply asking out of curiosity - So -besides CD's (Cross Dressers) - are there many (hetero) male submissives out there who enjoy shopping the way a woman does? I mean either for clothing for their Mistress, or even maybe just for themselves (with or without their Mistress there)?

Sorry to exclude the gay male subs, but - if you are a gay male sub, I am taking for granted you'll shop - and probably enjoy it. That may be a "stereotype" but for the most part, I think it's true. So - gay male subs are exempt from this question, hehe. Ditto for the CD's (gay or straight).

My understanding is that some hetero men would honestly almost rather be shot than have to go shopping, while others don't mind - and then there are some who apparently really enjoy shopping.

So - to the hetero, non-CD male submissives out there -which kind of man are you, as far as liking to shop? Again, I am simply asking out of curiosity.

P.S. Mistresses can answer this question for their submissives, if they choose.*
Thanks for any replies.

- Susan

You actually raised several issues here, and here are the simplest answers that i can come up with.

1.  i do not shop the same way that most of the women that i have known shop.  i generally have a very good idea of what i want, go to find it, get it and head home.  i might compare prices at several places, but am lousy at discerning rose from fuschia to hot pink, and do not see a great deal of diffence between cowlneck and turtleneck unless they are modeled.  Color, size and item i can find.  which of 2 very similar items of the same price, same material, same maker is better is difficult for me to comprehend.   it would take seconds not hours to decide.
2.  i have no objection to going to the ladies/women's/juniors/petites department with or without the company of a Lady.  i am a bit of a flirt (go figure) have a great look of haplessness in that environment, and there is often a sales clerk or customer that is quite willing to help me through that baffled look.  i don't pursue it any further than that, but it is great for a middle aged guy's ego.  especially if one's opinion is sought for a girl's selection.  even if the Lady has a jealous streak it is not a great worry, as any guy hanging out in the women's apparel department is deemed either gay, a CD, or attached.

Simply enough i am hetero, and am okay with shopping, but not for the same reason that You might be.

Ack, that's a major problem here as well... My wife grew up in northern New Jersey, so she spent most of high school at the malls... After about two hours (which is how long it takes the average guy to completely run out of money at Home Depot) i'm done!

i don't think i'll ever get the hand of women's clothing sizes, though... Why on earth are pants and panties sized with similar but different sets of  numbers?? [sm=confused.gif]

topIrishsubm -> RE: Do many submissive men go shopping for clothes w/their Mistresses? (4/8/2008 7:17:41 AM)

Up until a few days ago on my profile I had shopping as a "hard limit", and upon being reminded of my slave status, i've since changed it to "curious" [;)]

Slight hint from a dirty old man re: extended stamina.  Save the Victoria's Secrets and/or intimates for the end, with the promise (real or imagined) of a fashion show when You get the boy home.  it's kind of like saving dessert, or the carrot at the end of the stick.  it works great as a tease.  it is also somewhat more difficult to keep a man's attention if all of the blood has shifted in his body.
Just a thought, hope that it helps.

I grew up a mall rat, too, with a mother who used compulsive shopping as a way to fill the emotional emptiness she felt inside while married to my biological father... and while I was far too young to understand that while I was most easily influenced, all I saw was "yay, Mommy's going shopping again, let's buy stuff!"

True story: my first word was Visa.  My mother would lay out a $5 bill, a $20 bill, and a credit card and ask my one-year-old self to pick out which one was more money.  I went for the credit card every time.

Pfff, if that's the case then I can't go anywhere with him.  The boy's a light switch... all I have to do is say "Hello, darling" and he experiences a... shall we way, unsafe pressure drop.  [:D]  Every time I walk ahead of him to lead the way into the next store he checks out my ass.

Trying to sound surprised.  i will admit there is a second pressure drop where lingerie shopping is involved.  Perhaps it is the service sub in me picturing the selections in a pile next to the bed......go figure.

Especially when he realizes that all the lingerie I bought is larger than MY size....

Do You then make him go in front of You to go into the stores?  Just another stray thought.
