whats up with the fake alt.com ads?  Why would you endorse someone who is full of shit?
none of the names and pics shown are real as in they dont go together and if you go to the mentioned
city you will never meet that woman.

It's all about increasing traffic to a specific website. Increased traffic means they get increased ad revenue. They don't care if you find what you are looking for or not, it's all about the dollars and as long as they can draw you there then they make the money. In a lot of cases it's also an easy way to get you to a site that installs malware or spybots on your machine, again generally to make money somehow.

Ya, know i clicked on one of those damned ads last night because the picture of the woman was a faded face pic that looked a little like me except with big tits... (it was hard to tell because it really was faded).  Now how real did it appear to me?  Not at all considering this person has huge damn tits (something i do not have).  LOL  it was weird tho.. Now i know what i would look like with big tits! [sm=biggrin.gif]

Well, we have profiles from Accra, Wyoming and so on.  It is just that this site doesnt advertise their wares on Alt.

I joined that site once about 6 years ago.
The ratio of men to woman was about 14 to 1.
I never met anyone and no-one ever replied to any e-mails.
I'd stay away from it.
Not worth spending your money on it.

Well I had to stop posting my face (darn it all) but I send it to anyone who wants it. When I did post my face, alt would say I was in San Leandro, then Oakland, then whatever city they were advertising at the moment, except for my own city, lol.  I know because I googled my handle. Great fun. Anyway, have had lots of dates from alt so it's been worth it for me, though no serious long term relationships just yet.

Years back when I was seeking.  Alt. didn't charge to have a membership.  Apparently now they do?

I did meet people from there.  Quickly I learned I wanted to stay as far away from that website as humanly
possible.

CollarMe shows me ads from 1600 miles away from me now, so I have no issues whatsoever.
