Hello fellow subs,

My new master likes me to shave my pubes, and I wondered if you more experienced subs could help me with some tips. It seems very difficult to do to get my pubes really smooth without taking the top layer of skin off!

I am using an ordinary mens razor (gillette sensor) - with a fresh blade, and old fashioned shaving soap with a shaving brush, and afterwards I use sudocreme (antiseptic healing creme - commonly used for nappy rash).

Would I be better off using a woman's razor? Or maybe an electric razor? Do any of you wax your pubes? (Sounds very painful). If so, do you do it yourself, or go to a salon? Any other suggestions.

This is a genuine question and I would really like some tips.

thank you

Tara

I know of one Dominant who didn't like razor stubble and so plucked his slave's regions himself.  One short and curly at a time with tweezers.  Time consuming, but you could offer this option to your Dominant as an idea?

<tongue in cheek>  If you dare.

Somehow I don't think he would be up for that!

Well Master uses the same sort of soap, brush and razor on me ... all that happens is i get a little outbreak of pimples a couple of days later which is all part of the fun for Him (W/we do pimples as part of O/our D/s LOL ... i've even safeworded with one particularly nasty one!). At one time i tried an electric razor and that hurt as it pulled some of the hairs that grow every which way and seemed to leave more of a rash. Perhaps you are being too heavy-handed? It can't be easy to do yourself ... maybe ask your Master if He will shave you ... He can see what He's doing and perhaps use a lighter touch. i find i get incredibly subby when Master does me ... the position ... the nakedness ... the vulnerability ... and the taste test when He's done to make sure He didn't miss any LOL ... oh it's heaven! i just wish my hairs grew back faster, thicker so He'd have to do it more often.

Have shaved for years, use a man's blade, the fusion by gillette, though there are some past threads about a certain type of cream that is really helpful, i just don't remember the name.

Also have been waxed, the level of pain involved depends on what kind of wax is used, the solid versus the strips of cloth and how skilled the person at the salon is. The other problem with waxing is the length the hair has to grow to before it can be waxed off.

* Edited because i really don't have the link thing down.

There is a product called Magic Shave...it's made for men's beards.  It is a powder stuff that you mix and it works like nair but it much more sensitive.  i have purchased it for as little as $1.50 a can and a can lasts a while.

Hope this helps!

blacktara -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/11/2007 3:56:33 PM)

Thank you all. I wish Sir would shave me. I have been shaved before and I love it, but I think he things it is beneath him!

Is magic shave sensitive enough? I am scared of getting very sore if I use chemicals

iam4u2tie -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/11/2007 4:07:37 PM)

i shave my face daily and pubic area weekly.  i recommended a men's razor like the gillette mach 3 (it worked a little better for me than a fusion).  However, i highly recommend using a man's facial shaving gel with aloe.  There are a couple of brands on the market.  i use either Gillette Series gel, or Edge Advanced Gel with aloe.  The gels are better than any other shaving cream or lotion i've used.

That powder stuff i ended up with a serious burn. I refuse to use it if its the can of powder thats silver, blue and red? i think that is for afro americans. I took it to a skin dr and he laughed as it says something about being recommended by some foundation? He never heard of it and told me not to use it again.

Thank you heartfeltsub for all the links. They were really helpful.

I have ordered a Seiko Cleancut from ebay - lets hope that works!

I also realise that I have been shaving against the hair direction and will change to go with and see if that helps.

My Dom did like my "stubble" whenever i had to shave. He shaved it once with soap and water but left me with a severe case of rash (itching like no other, and a real bad burning sensation). So i'd say, shave like you'd shave your legs, upwards not downwards [8|]

marieToo -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/11/2007 9:11:01 PM)

The Intuition razor works really nicely for the pubic area.  Its got a triple blade and it's flexible to go around the curves and whatnot, and the shaving lotion is built-in. You just shave all in one step

MasterBnslave -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/11/2007 11:24:54 PM)

i also highly recommend Magic Shave.  This is also a product that impedes the regrowth but the name escapes me at the moment.  i will post it when it comes to me.  Good luck!

Epilstop.
Impedes regrowth.  Works nicely, as long as you use something else to get rid of the hair first

littlebitxxx -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/12/2007 1:53:11 AM)

I started waxing a couple years ago, having it done first and correctly by an esthetician.  Since then, being done regularly by myself using the pre-waxed strips, the hair just doesn't grow back except sparsely and finely.  I may let it grow a little fuzzy to do a really good job but in between I can just pluck the few that appear.  No stubble, no irritation, no ingrowns, just smoooooth.

That sounds like torture to me..... for when you've been a bad subbie.[;)]

On the flip side having your master restrain you and shave you does sound very submissive and certainly brings on the goosebumps[:)][:)][:)]

mmb1 -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/12/2007 4:01:58 AM)

I cannot shave, wax, the entire thing, and believe me, I have tried it all, professionally and over the counter due to extremely sensitive skin and breakouts, rashes etc, so the only way that works for me is to shave in a tidy way, or wax, but I do leave some hair, or can trim it with a scissor........looks good to me :) I like having some hair there, afterall, it's there for a reason...........and on me it would look far worse with the irritation I get.

eyesopened -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/12/2007 4:28:22 AM)

To get a particularly smooth shave i use tea tree oil instead of any other shaving cream or soap.  The oil allows for a better shave and is gentle on the skin.  Not easy to find but look in the ethnic hair-care products aisle at most drug stores.

???
I googled Epilstop, and found the webiste for Epil Stop, which, according to the website, is a depilitory. It looks like it might be a good product, but to remove hair, not to impede regrowth.

kossack -> RE: Shaving pubes (8/12/2007 7:33:45 AM)

I get the Brazilian at the salon--I wax my own legs but could never do the bikini region.

This sounds stupid, but, got to someone that knows what they are doing.  The first time I tried to save money by going to a school (where I get my hair cut)--big mistake!!!!!!  (I also got it done in Mexico--we won't even go there--I kept wanting to stop halfway through and if I'd known I'd have welts for two weeks after, I would have stopped, but I just thought it was the momentary pain, but that was not in this country.)  Someone who knows what they are doing, does it quickly, and that is a good thing.

Go the week after your period.

I take a pain killer about an hour before, and it really isn't so bad.

But, it keeps growing back!!!!  I keep wishing it wouldn't, but it does.
