Question about feminization

A Mistress and my self have been talking, and W/we both came to the idea that i should be feminized a bit for her.

My question is as follows.

Is there anywhere to shop specifically for men, for womans clothes?

She wants me to purchase a pair of panties, thigh highs and a garter belt, but i have idea what size would be idea for my self, nor do i have any idea what the sizes on females clothes represent.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

All the clothes I've gotten in the past have been made for females since I've been lucky enough to have a decent body for it. However, I think if you're not lucky in that aspect sites such as that would help quite a bit.

There are more if you search google for crossdressers clothes.

Status: offline 		hi there i also do crossdressing and things ive also over the yrs become a 24/7 panties wearing male .there are quite few places out there even stores like lanebryant how ever kinda expensive in price but there large made clothes for ladies / big girls  also you can try   www.xdress.com  lingire and thigns made for men in male sizes  . but rember if you buy real females clothes they willbe cut too fit the females body not a males so they'll  be tighter fitting also many of the CD stores have links too other places that can help with shoes and things   also  tyr suddenly fem.com

Status: offline 		Body size does have a lot to do with it.  I've been lucky enough to have a more feminine body, with actual curves and hips, so I can pull clothes right off the racks in any store and wear them.  I tend to go for more of a younger "cute" look, so much of what I have came right from the Juniors section of stores.  I'm definitely not a big person.

VS is great for lingerie, as while you might be able to get less expensive (and almost as good) stuff from other stores, there is just something about wearing something from there against your body that brings more of the woman out in me.  Oh - and the shoes.........for sure!!!!!!!

For me it would be more a matter of convenience and price. Being able to physically go to a specialty shop -- that means being in a big city. Prices in these stores will be much higher than in a general women's store. Given that in general women's clothes seem to be higher priced anyway, I'd go for saving more money if you can.

I'd recommend doing some research on how to size yourself in women's sizes -- any online store or catalog will have a section telling you what body parts to measure. Then you can do the measurements at home and have a better idea of what to look for.

Most areas in stores where you try on clothes don't really pay much attention to what you have -- they ask how many items you have. So frankly not a lot of humiliation unless you like that. Fox could have taken 6 dresses in with him yesterday, they didn't care at Target, they were so overwhelmed with the back to school try ons they just wanted folks in and out.

Not sadist at all! If going to feminize do it right. Go to store of your choice and ask for a fitting! This is part of the feminization process!

Status: offline 		Checking the crossdressing websites for sizing advice is a good idea, but like others have said, go to a nice department store for a proper bra fitting.  Most big cities they won't blink twice at you.  But if you are close enough to off the rack clothes sizewise to buy them, do it that way.  There are a lot of people on the interwebs who think they can add the word "crossdresser" and double the price and people will pay for it (and they do.)  Still, there are some good bargains to be found if you take your time.  Good luck and enjoy the journey!

This is good advice.  Get yourself a tape measure (like, a flimsy one meant for measuring fabrics or something).  In plenty of online stores you can get a measure of how many inches a certain size is, and get a general idea of your size in various things - tops, skirts, dresses, bras, panties (even shoes?).  Get your waist for a skirt or garters, your chest at the widest point (add 1 inch for mock A cup, 2 for B, 3 for C, etc...this is your 'bust'), and whatever else you feel you need.  I like larger sizes because they accomodate height better, which is not something measurements generally account for.  Since our adventurous OP is 6'2, this matters. 

With panties, just remember your member .  Your waist size does not equal your panties size...go up at least 1 size to account for that.  Different styles are more or less accomodating - bikinis give you a pretty good balance of looks and accomodation, at least with me. There are other styles that painfully do not accomodate most of us.  She or you might be into that lol.  In any case, you can probably tell by looking at them.  Just think, where would you 'fit' in there?  Unless you're going for a classic look, a string bikini might 'work'.

For the thigh-highs keep your rather tall height in mind as well.  On the chart I just looked at, You were well past the "C" size...so D or E is more likely, lest you end up with knee-highs lol.

I'm with You on this one Donna ... this is one type of humiliation play I do get into ... half the fun of feminization is the whole process of going shopping! Walking around the female lingerie section, having Mistress select a pair of panties and hold them up against you saying "Do you think these will fit you dear? what about the colour? sexy black or would you prefer baby pink? oh these are everso pretty, hmmm but what is that bump down there? don't think they'll fit with THAT" etc etc!

However you did get some very good advice on how to measure yourself up to at least take a stab at the right sizes!

Status: offline 		i was going too start a new topic but may be it belongs here ... please dont flame me or put me down but id like to ask  any and all  ... Im  a long submissive and i was wondering when or who or how did makeing a male crossdress and then spanking  or placeing them in bondage come about .  i totaly understand that each sub  and each Mistress / Master seeks some- thing but i cant be the only one whos wondered why or when many of these play times or fetishes got combined  i ask only because many Dvds and Videos have this combined for the submissive even looking thur web sites you'll find cds or  sub males in panties and tied up or being spanked ... i love it dont get me wrong but this has offten crossed my mind on how all the fetishes get combind for play time and sessions

Under my street clothes I had on all feminine undergarments and we went shopping at one of the larger department stores for clothes for both of us. Although I was not made to try on all the outfits  I had to hold up countless numbers of them in the middle of the department so that the style and colors could be approved....durring one of the stores busier times. Next we went to a  small consignment /resale shop where I did have to try on the outfits, come out of the dressing room and show themand see if they were acceptable. Curious onlookers were told, with a grin and a wink, that it was for a Halloween costume. I never realized that I could turn that many shades of red.
Needless to say it was quite a memorable day and night.

Status: offline 		Definitely measure yourself and use the size charts on store websites to get an idea of your size.  I got it almost perfectly right the first time and made very few mistakes.  Now I know my sizes on everything and can pretty much go to a store and just grab it off the shelf/racks and buy it and it will fit.  Since I do have a body type where "regular" women's clothes do fit on me with no problems, I can just shop in any dept store.

It does make things easier and can save you money when the stores have big sales or put things on clearance.  I know what makeup works and can pretty much put together an entire outfit from head to toe, matching everything up.  I've put together lots of outfits that I've gotten lots of compliments on.  I guess you could say I'm as close to being able to be a woman now - except genetically.  *L*

You've asked a good question and I think it's really great your Mistress is going to feminize you. We love feminizing our slaves and sissies at the Academy. Sizing varies for everybody, even for women. Have you thought about measuring yourself? Have your Mistress measure you or do it yourself and give it to the sales rep or clerk and they'll find the right sizes for you.
