What gives me confidence is the success I've had in my own ongoing relationships. Layered into that, I think back on all my own antecedent relationships. From my history I know I can make another person happy if timing and circumstances allign. So, I rely on that overarching theme as more imortant and valuable than my own faults, shortcommings, and insecurities. How this would add up if I were single, out there in the dating market after a tough stretch, I don't know --- but I've just had very good fortune connecting with people.

When I first got into Bdsm I never questioned myself of my abilities I really didnt worry about that at all. Ive been with my boy for ten months now and I must say I do at times question myself becasue he is a keeper and I want this to work out so I ponder a lot about my abilities and how to better them. He is new to this I am his first mistress so it isnt his experience that makes me look at myself its just that I want to be the best mistress I can be now Ive found the best boy [:)] I think its natural for people to at times question themselves its human nature. I have well still am going through a period of questioning myself and my motives and its a lot to do with external stresses that Im going through in nilla life at the minute it has a knock on effect, so I dont worry to much about the whole questioning thing it just goes hand in hand with being depressed at the minute, Im questiong all my life skills right know even my mothering ones. I just ride with it and if there is room to improve I go for it.
