Okay, I will make a gingerbread house.  I have no idea what I will do with it, as I am not staying in town for Christmas.  Unfortunatly you are in Ozland so I cannot just mail it to you from here in Totoland.  You just KNOW our postal inspectors would find some reason that they needed to eat it or call the bomb dogs.

I will go get the stuff for it in a couple days.  Hella no way that I want to go out to the shops tomarrow.

The Grinch hated Christmas!
The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be that she hated the music and trees.
It could be, perhaps, that no one said "Please."
Either that or the most likely reason of all
May have been that her heart was two sizes too small.

hard for pple whose birthday is christmas. my youngest's is just before the holidays. i always make sure that she has vy seperate presents and parties. look, i'm not saying everyone has to love christmas. for some people it's a really hard time of the year. my dad had a stroke just before christmas day and died in the new year. i KNOW holidays are hard on my mom now. thing is, why do people let other people around them - especially those they have no more than a casual connection with - rule their feelings?

crappy sales people, management that overplays songs, long lines, irate customers. yeah. sucks. get over it. have the holidays however YOU want them. if you don't want them, great, if you do, then ENJOY them, for heaven's sake!

IS it really only 29 days ;left,oh boy oh boy jumping up and down....I see Diane's point when she was becoming a Grinch the other day,her words were "I refuse to think about Christmas until TG is over,I refuse to listen to Christmas music even"...The stores are pushing their limits on extending /starting the buying season...

that's why u do ur shopping early, or stay out of the shops until ur ready to hear the music! hey, occasionaly grinchiness is cool, it does get annoying. but get over it and enjoy the holiday sooner rather than later, eh?

Well, Saturday ended up busier that I thought, but I should be free on Sunday to work on it.  I had not realized the amount of time I would need to spend letting the icing harden in between steps.  But now that everything else is mostly caught up, there should be no problem playing with it.

Although, I give fair warning, I am NOT an artist.

BTW, it looks like I will need to pick up the stuff to do a second at my mothers house as well.  And that is okay, because she does that decorating stuff as one of her hobbies.  I swear the woman has more hobbies than a recovering crack addict.

hey, hobbies are what keep women like me and her off the streets, touting for crack, ok?

i gotta move to the states. my quilting addiction wouldn't be an addiction cause it wouldn't cost me so fricking bloody much!

(truly, i'm in a good mood!)

Well, quilting is not one of my mother's hobbies. . .

But let me introduce you to my maternal grandmother.

And how does one tout crack?  "Hey you all, crack is yummy, try some today, it is strawberry flavored"?

Sheeeet!!!!  I had not thought about the anatomically correct gingerbread men.  I should have, I worked in a bakery at one point, and that happened.

I think that we will be bringing a second set of things.

The other half keeps telling me anyways that I could build A REALLY HUGE COMPLEX if I just put my mind to it.

As far as the blueberry flavored crack goes. . .

I know why it is called crack, but I have no idea how you would flavor it.

Let me know when you will be in the states, and I will arrange a meeting with my grandma.

rofl, really? ginger men or women? i LOVE gingerbread men. especially made with molasses. they just taste so good the longer they've been tucked away. fortunately, my kids can't stand them! complex. hm. castle might be easier. let's do a castle! for the princesses of the world.

Umm. .  they did both men and women.  It is amazing what you can achieve with chocolate chips.

And stop with the castle.  I am not even sure how this house is gonna turn out.  On the other hand, I can alwayd feed it to the doggies.  They are labs, and they will eat ANYTHING.
