GoddessBitch -> Fake Subs and Timewasters (7/4/2005 3:11:07 AM)

Hello to My Sisters in Superiority and Sadism!

Is there a way W/we can share experiences of Time Wasters and Fakers on this site? I do not wish to necessarily name and shame but warn others. Are the Moderators interested to know of the ingenuine?

Shayna -> RE: Fake Subs and Timewasters (7/4/2005 3:16:51 AM)

Who's got that much time to list them all?

onceburned -> RE: Fake Subs and Timewasters (7/4/2005 3:27:43 AM)

You mean there is more than one?? [:-]

MstrssPassion -> RE: Fake Subs and Timewasters (7/4/2005 5:00:56 AM)

I agree... who has that much time... <wink>

On another site I had a Domme contact me with a very polite email warning me of a sub that she had found to be "less than desirable." I can't use the words she actually used to describe him here.

I guess if you feel compelled enough to warn others about these pretenders you could do that, but that would require so much time.
I also know of a few women who have listed screen names of people they have issues with on their personal web pages.

As to the moderators getting involved with a screening process or an area to list undesirables... that just won't happen. This is a free site & outside of being underage or showing nudes in profiles, there really are no restrictions for users of this site.

We lowly folks experience the same, or so I've read. ;)

Do remember however that in some instances "real" and "time waste" are relative terms....

My question is by whose standards are 'they' timewasters? In my opinion it's all about kissing frogs. Yes, I hate the process. WE would have to agree on the 'standards' of submissives and whomever is in this 'group' that agrees to those standards, would have to abide by them as well. Does that mean we, as dominants, will always agree? NO WAY. Recipe for just another way to cut necessary corners, a wonderful thought, yes, but I don't see it happening.

So, back to kissing frogs for me,
Ms Honey

I have been warned about time wasters and pretenders in My real world more than once. I am very pleased that I never take the opinions of others into consideration when I am contemplating training or keeping a submissive because If I had I would have missed out on incredible long term relationships with two of My present toys.

One Mistress's annoyance may be anothers joy.

sarbonn -> RE: Fake Subs and Timewasters (7/4/2005 12:58:13 PM)

Personally, I think you have extremely unrealistic expectations in what you want in a submissive. Putting forth the idea that in order to be worthy of you the guy has to be extremely wealthy and buy you a 400k (pounds) house, well, honestly, what are you expecting as a response. I know that if I was looking for someone, the money wouldn't be an object to me, especially once I was into that financial situation, but if I found a woman who was advertising for the submissiveness I stand for and then throwing out the "you must be THIS wealthy to attract me", I'd probably ignore her as a fake and just push forward trying to find someone real.

It's like the little girl who sets up the lemonaide stand and charges $500 a cup. Someone asks her why so much, and she says that's what she hopes to make all summer, so she only needs one customer. Logical, but implausible.

When I first came to this ite I thought WOW what man would pay to be dominated and what type of woman would demand they do..

Now I know.. in everyday life time is money and when you have enough pretenders wasting your time... <meetings they never show up to, spanding long hours emailing and talking only to find them married or liars ect ect> You start to think of making everyone pay for you time..

I perfer just to stick to my old friends and subs

It is far better to love and have lost than never to have loved at all!

We are all time wasters here. You might as well just move along. ;)

am a Beautiful, Elegant, Superior True Lifestyle Goddess seeking an attractive, wealthy 24/7 to be My life servant. I had a profile saying so. I thought TWICE now I had founf My perfect slave, BOTH turned out to be fake! Yet engaged in lengthy email, im and phone calls. IF these people have a truly submissive nature do they notunderstand this disrespect is hurtful and very damaging for future 'genuine' correspondance? I would be interested to hear from the sub point of view. I have just discovered who I thought was My perfect life sharing slave is fake and I am deeply hurt. Have you ever done this to a Domme? Do you have the sma e experiences from the other standpoint? I now feel utterly bereft and taken for a fool. Is there somewhere W/we genuine seekers can share the i.d's of time wasters and cheaters?

quote:

But HE replied to MY ad and has a photo on this site as a sub and profile seeking a Mistress! Loads of contact then claimed he is 'not good enough for Me', taking the right to choose form ME! I feel hurt and used, perhaps his intent was to make a powerful Domme feel like a used slut!

Would prefer to hear of other experience of time wasters and how W/we can spot them in future than have responses to who or what he is!

These are comments from another thread...I must say, foot stomping and whining is not considered the norm in Twue Lifestyle dommes.

I've been in love and lost it. I'm just not bitter about it. I move on and I'm grateful for the times I've had with those that I've been with.

Then again, that is how I deal with life. I find it makes my life more enjoyable.

Not bitter, just still sad. I love my partner, but I still long for the love that I had with my first love. He later revealed himself to be gay so there is nothing really for us as far as a long-term relationship, but I still miss the friendship and love that we had. It's more the friendship then anything......

Alright, but would you have rather never, ever met him?
