i plan to write on the difference betweeen a true BDSM experince and the experince of being battered and abused. i have a collection of stories garnered from my days in chat but i would like to hear from women (or men) here on this subject.

It is not necessary to write to me about experiences with a true Sadistic Master..i have Sadistic friends who have agreed to help provide that ascpect of the information.

Instead, i am looking for stories of encounters with abusive men (or women?) which ended with the submissive woman/man in the emergency room, etc.

The difference between an abusive situation and a non-abusive situation is that non-abusive situations make the people involved feel more secure and come from a place of security and understanding. Abusive situations make the people involved feel less secure and come from a place of insecurity and fear.

i spent many years involved with the protection of battered women in my "old life" and feel comfortable speaking with authority on the subject of their methodology in the vanilla world. i am interested in stories of abuse from submissives and slaves because i feel that expertise needs "tweeking" when speaking to the BDSM community.

As i said, i have a store of stories from my days in chat, but feel i should not rely on them; they are aged and i cannot attribute them, even confidenitally. This is a serious subject and deserves the proper research.

i do not yet know if i will simply do a post or something longer; it depends in part on how much material needs inclusion. My intent is to provide a submissve or slave with a reference point they feel comfortable reviewing as they ask themselves; "is this a Master or an abuser?'. Most particularly younger submissives and slaves.

i hope that answers Your question, Fire. it was quite important and deserved an answer if it was not clear in the 1st post.

Do you have a confidentiality form to be signed fillepink? And what about a release form seeing as you are planning on using the data you collect.

You've just hit the mother load asking me this question. As an EMT and my experince in the ER I know many cases envolving gun shots, beatings, knife stabings/killings, rape, and such. Just send me a message on my profile about what all you would like to hear and I'll message you back.

There is a very distinct difference between abuse and being in a BDSM lifestyle. After all, an abusive relationship will leaves so much permanent damage to the entire family and can lead to death. Such a complete lack of hope being filled with so much despair and hopelessness. It's sad that it happens.

I thought of somethign when reading this. If the OP had been written by a male/male profile, it would have been unilaterally dismissed as someone looking for jerk-off material.

Gentle Lady; i did not intend to quote women or men who had been abused, nor certainly not to release their nicks or anything else identifying them. The submission of materials to me in response to the post pretty much covers the need for a release, and You may send it with any caveat You wish.

As for confidentiality, i have practiced law since 1988, and though my licenses are inactive now (due to the high cost of continuing legal ed) i am still bound by the ethics code. Furthermore, i feel a deep and abiding duty to battered women and would never do anything to aggravate their suffering.
