August and September to me, mean the end of the summer hot months as things cool down . So to end em I am taking in a musical play live at GoodSpeed Theather and then following it by a Merle Haggard Concert Live and then finishing it off with a trip to The BIg E to see Trace Adkins live in concert. Smiles now that will be a fine way to end a summer see!

If this is what you listen to now, would you mind briefly telling us all what you listended to in the 60-90s? I think we could learn a lot about you just by that.
Also interesting that you "joined" this site in 04 but only seem to now be jumping into the madness called message board. Or sometimes bored. lol xo Soph

Summer doesn't end here until November.

But we're going to Foreigner/Styx/Def Leppard at the end of the month, my partner is going to Austin City Limits Fest in Sept, and then we'll do local stuff mostly until the Trans Siberian Orchestra in December.

I love Merle.  I listened to him "back then" and I listen to him now...along with a whole bunch of other stuff, ranging from classical, to jazz, to hard rock, to disco.

And I'm looking forward to the weather cooling...I hate the heat!

My tastes are extremely eclectic, from classical and blues to punk and other weirdness.

Of late I have found a station on XM called Special X.  The other day I heard a Misfits cover of
Bohemian Rhapsody.  William Shatner sings Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.  The Texas Chainsaw
Orchestra performs Neil Diamond songs.  Weird Al Yankovich.  It advertises itself as the most
bizarre music ever recorded.
