Fast reply: Not based off researched medical knowledge, but keep in mind the intestines are designed to absorb nutrients, so not only is it absorbed MUCH faster, but also a higher percentage is absorbed (since you have bypassed the bodies natural system in the stomach and small intestines.) I once had a champagne enema, i took about 6-8 ounces undiluted (equivalent to 1-2 glasses) and was DRUNK. (Of course, the bubbles also caused some vicious cramping.....) No hangover however. Avoid hard liquor for sure, take it slow, carefully measure the amount of alcohol you are introducing, and make sure to take some acidophilus or eat some yogurt for the next couple of days to help restore healthy intestinal flora .Good luck! *edit - if you choose to warm the liquid, make sure that nothing over 105 degrees gets introduced, as serious internal burns can result without the person being aware of the damage until later. A thermometer is an important tool in an enema kit.
