Post-surgical recovery, gall bladder removal. Actually, I haven't even filled that prescription yet as I'm still working off the stock I received from before the surgery. I should clarify that my "narcotics" are Percocet and Vicodin by tablet now but it was Dilaudid all last week via I.V.

True, but it'll very shortly be a former stupor. My last pain med was taken earlier this morning and thus far the pain has not returned so I don't plan on taking any more.

Which is fine... the buzz from all that stuff is interesting when first injected but after a while the dulling of the mind becomes a bit tiresome.

Well, the hospital's internet networks ban CM outright so I would have had withdrawal symptoms right from the get-go were it not for the nearly instantaneous infusion of Dilaudid via I.V.

No, these withdrawal things are definitely the result of coming off Dilaudid, Vicodin, Percocet, and I believe Atavan and Benadryl were thrown in there a few times, mostly for the grins and giggles of the staff I guess.
