I'm ok, been sick with bronchitis and getting better thanks to drugs. Now Daddy is really sick, burning up with a fever and killer sore throat. We think he may have strep throat, it's going around at Mr. Smarties school. So I'm Nurse Rain here, taking care of him and Mr. Smarties.....

Aww, strep throat sucks.  i'm sorry.

i've been alright, though.  Supposed to be going out with some of my apartment neighbors here to a bar ([:'(]) tonight, but they have yet to come kidnap me... erm, i mean, i'm not sure what time they wanted to go so i'm stuck here behind the computers for now.  Poor me, lol. [8D]

i'm not really, either.  They're just trying to get me to go out and be social in the real world. [8|] [8D]  i appreciate their efforts and the thought, though.  i'm thinking if i do go, i'll just order some food and maybe have a margarita or something.

Or a cosmo.... I love cosmos! There's a little place here called the Arms that has half-priced martinis night and they include cosmos as a type of "martini". Don't ask me why, I just accept that my drinks are half-priced! [:)]

Rain I love cosmos too, but I like mine with Grand Marnier instead of triple sec, packs more of a wallop. [:)].

I also made them a lot when I was bartending with Contreau too, anything to boost the proof. Drunker peeps tip better. Specially boys.[;)]

Yum! I love Zombies. When I was in college we used to go to this old school type Chinese place, back when they weren't all cheesy little places in strip malls, it had a waterfall, and all kinds of cool over the top asian decor, and it was all dark and the waitresses all wore those sexy little cheongsam dresses, anyway it was called Sing's and they never ever ID'd us so we went there a lot and drank zombie's. Oh, and smoked clove cigarettes. Too funny, we thought we were all grown up. Ha![;)] They closed like ten years ago, made me so sad. Now they are all buffets and rude people and screaming kids. sighs...nostalgia.

Tried them for the first time when I was in early 20's. A co worker and I went for a drink after our shift and I ordered one. Damn thing tasted so good and went down too smooth so I ordered another, when I got up to leave to go home, I simply poured myself out the door! Those things sure packed a wallop!
