Is Sappa talking about precipitation? They closed a lot of schools here today because of flooding from all the rain.

Notwithstanding the lovely offer from the lady down under, yes I was writing about precipitation. We are 16 inches shy of normal rainfall for the year thus far. The last time it rained a tenth of an inch (or more) was 23 days ago, it's been over 90 F locally for about half of that time, and full on sun for every bit of those daytime hours. I'm not a fan of desert-like living. It makes my skin turn into parchment. [:'(]

Ah, to remember such a time... I hope it isn't flooding where you are. Getting rain is one thing; flooding because of it is another.

Saying "arrrrrggggghhhh" alone does not a pirate make. It's the sayin' of "arrrrrggggghhhhh" whist swingin' from one ship to another, shootin' yer pistol, and singin' piratey songs that sets yer course. But that's just the beginnin'... Of course, capturin' a modern freighter with a contingent of highly trained and decently armed security forces aboard... now that's somethin' to sing about. ARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!

Yes I was confused myself as the cub wanted to sign in under our couple's profile so when I switched back to this ID, somehow it posted under my original which that was deleted over a year ago.
