Is Sappa talking about precipitation? They closed a lot of schools here today because of flooding from all the rain.

Notwithstanding the lovely offer from the lady down under, yes I was writing about precipitation. We are 16 inches shy of normal rainfall for the year thus far. The last time it rained a tenth of an inch (or more) was 23 days ago, it's been over 90 F locally for about half of that time, and full on sun for every bit of those daytime hours.

I'm not a fan of desert-like living. It makes my skin turn into parchment.

Saying "arrrrrggggghhhh" alone does not a pirate make. It's the sayin' of "arrrrrggggghhhhh" whist swingin' from one ship to another, shootin' yer pistol, and singin' piratey songs that sets yer course. But that's just the beginnin'...
