Im gonna hijack Instynctives thread too... Ok, several hours ago when I told yall I was taking my grandparents into town... I got the babies all dressed and started loading the van. The two year old sat down on the front porch and started playing with the kittens. He does it all the time so I didnt worry about him and went on to the van with the one year old. About halfway through buckling the one year old into his car seat, the two year old decided to come follow me to the van. I hollared at him to sit down and tried to run for him, but he managed to head face first down a set of concrete stairs before I could get to him. At first I thought all he got was a little road rash until the blood started pouring out his mouth. I grabbed him and ran to the bathroom (remember one year old is still sitting in car seat outside in van...yes van is running and AC is on). Blood and me really dont get along too well, expecially when it belongs to one of the kids so I threw up a few times while holding onto screaming two year old with cold wet wachrag over his mouth. I managed to call my grandfather to come over to sit outside with the baby, but he ended up having to take care of me because apparently I passed out. Papa cleaned up the two year old and got him calmed down. By the time I was able to stand up well again, he was already laughing and playing with his airplanes. He seemed to be happy and had already forgotten about the pain, but his two front teeth were extreamly loose and one was knocked a bit out of position. Papa drove me and the babies into town and we stopped by the kids doctor. He said to put ice on it and give him tylenol but there wasnt anything he could do, if I wanted xrays I needed to go to the emergency room but he didnt think it was nesssary. We decided instead to go to the pediatric emergency dentist here in town, they said the tooth wasnt broken and that they expected the gums would tighten back up on it on their own, but that if the tooth did fall out, there wasnt any point in repairing it since it was just a baby tooth. We are home now, and the two year old is happily drinking a chocolate milkshake...which I never allow any of them to have so he thinks its great! Im going to try putting the babies both down for a nap in a few minutes but I dont know if Ill be back online today or not... ghita~ PS...if anyone gets a room be sure to invite me....and Spiral, you have to come....I own you and I say so and you have to do what I say....
