PS no offense intended to the guys here who have it. It's just seriously a personal ick factor for me. We all have them...and I just realized how mean I might have sounded. Nothing personal intended, honestly.

The answer is quite simple. Masters have facial hair because it looks better on them than Mistresses.

i can't help but wonder what this says about my personal relationships: Ma'ams Daddy/Husband is clean-shaven and i, Her submissive, have a goatee if this means that i'm going to have to start dominating Her; i'm sorry, i just can't and won't do it if it means i have to shave; i have to ask Her permission, and i don't wanna... She likes my goatee

Well before I was into BDSM I let my girlfriends decide on my facial hair. For the first seven years I dated only two girls and one of them was for 6 of those years, so she liked me exactly how I am right now. The other year was with a girl who did not care. Then I spent three years with a girl who could not make up her mind, but would have me shave rare occasion. Now that I shave my head as well (a female friend said it would look good between girlfriends) Phoenix says if I were to let my head hair grow that she would shave my head in my sleep punishments be dammed. I shaved all my facial hair off once for shock value to her, but she likes the look better as I am. So for me it is not a sign of dominance, but rather a sign of trying to look good enough in my submissive eyes that she wants to show me off. ~Ki

I've never known a man with facial hair (up close enough to touch it anyways) it is a ik to me too, a big no no. I hope those stats are wrong lol. I'm gonna start looking at pictures closer I guess.

A little known fact that goes with this is that when I am in the shower I have a standing order to have my clothing laid out for me, so that I may dress quickly. It serves three purposes. first stop trying to understand the mind of a master,,, i have had many differnt looks withmy facial hair,, and yes it is true that i prefer to have a goatee or full beard,, but as it is ,,it is a personal issue for each,, just this last week i shaved clean ,, just to do so ,, and was told i now look like i'm in my mid 20's when i'm really much older than that,, we shave or grow our facial hair for our pleasure ,, not the sub/slaves it matters not what is growing on our face ,, but what we have working in our mind and hearts,, MasterMataeo
