I'm relatively new to CM myself..didn't really post on the welcome thread...just starting listening and then eventually posting....still mostly listening and absorbing : )

Well, I can't speak for the total and complete rudeness of my fellow posters...but I myself have determined years ago that I won't offer hello's until I've been innundated with at least a minimum of 8 naked (head to toe) pictures and at least one 3 minute video of the woman undressing rather indiscretely.

I look at intros, I will not usually post unless they say something cute.
If you have nothign there but a hey im here, then you might not get welcomes.
Cest la vie, thats like being annoyed you walked into a bar and not all the regulars waved at you and offered you a seat.
Its not typical, nor is it atypical.  For a good bunch of us, if your forum didnt scrol through the sidebar thing, we might not have even known it existed (like me).

Dont sweat the small stuff. Make yourself known in the forum discusions, rather than a few anonymous hellos from people who, without other input, will never remember your name anyway.

It's true that I have collared mrscolden...We spent a beautiful weekend together...But alas, I had to send her on her way....You see it wasn't only the fact that she was a tad bit older than I, it mostly hinged on the fact that her muffins tasted of snatch...And of course the random short and curly.  I miss you mrscolden...and your hairy, tuna muffins.

Wow..yeah this is a whine post. I never got a welcome to CM either, but I didn't post an intro. I refuse to be nice to someone thats begging for attention like that. And I refuse to beg for attention that way myself. As Arpig said, thicken your skin, this can be a not very nice place to those like you...
