Body modifications are getting very popular in the kinky and vanilla worlds.

I personally have had and have several ranging from ear piercing and hair color to tattoos and waist training.

I am wondering, what kinds of modifications have you, the subs/slaves, undergone for your Masters/Mistresses?

How long were you in service to that person before they marked you?

Are you still in service to them?

Do you regret or love the modification?

I have had at least 6 modifications directly related to my service to Master. I gagged my ear lobes from a 20g to a 8 g. I corset trained for 5-6 months and reduced my waist size by 5 inches. Due to play, I have had 2 X’s scared into my back. I am also required by Master to have red hair, it’s a fetish of his. I also have scars on my chest due to large gage needles being run on me often. I had my hud pierced for both Master and I. He liked the look I wanted the feeling.

Not related to my service I have a Monroe piercing in my lip, a pentacle tattoo on my right shoulder and an Ank cut into my left shoulder.

I do not regret any of my modifications. I am still in service to Master, 2 years and counting. It took 3 months before he'd even let my color my hair.

None as "service" to anyone, but my PA was part of me collaborating with like-minded partners that could be called lovers on any other day... and it looked damn cool. The branding and scarring I've done to myself, that's been more on the "enlightenment through pain" angle than anything else. The rest of the holes I've poked into myself are for aesthetic reasons alone...

I have had my nipples pierced at Master's request, but I had wanted to have it done
for several years before that. I don't think I'll ever regret that one. We have been together
2 years, and it was 18 months before he asked that it be done, although we had discussed
it within the first month of knowing each other.

I have a tattoo on my right flank, of an insignia he created specifically for this purpose. He considers this tattoo my brand of his ownership, as he will not hot-iron brand me.

I was only owned by him for a few months when he first spoke of his desire to do this. It was a little over a year until it was actually done.

I have belonged to him for three years and don't see that changing. I was his for a year before I could change my hair style and color :) He must approve all changes to my body and hair. I tried tanning spray on my own once a long time ago (turned me orange) and got an earful.

I agree, you should inherently want the mod for your self. If a person wants to put their name on you I would recommend against it unless you want it in the first place.

But you should remember that modifications can be as simple as changing your hair color.

If you have served a person for a few years I see nothing wrong with allowing then to put some kind of a mark on you. As long as the sub doesn’t regret it later there really isn't a problem.

If a Dom/Domme won't take you because you have a mark from your past, then just move on... how many people get their spouses name tattooed on them, then divorce a year later. Might not be the best idea, but no on plans on ending a relationship when they do something like that.

In my view, allowing Master to mark me, in subtle ways, was a form of surrender. I gave my body to him and he did as he saw fit with it.

Master has been careful with the marks he has put on me, nothing that is ugly or to huge… or something that would impede me in the future, if I choose to no longer serve him someday.

The marks from play were accidents, and just one of the risks that I took when I said, “Yes, sir… I would like that done to me.” We didn’t know how that part of my body would scar at that time. I still enjoy looking at the scars. Why regret them if I enjoied the play when they were made?

I thought about this too, prior to having my mark put on me. When he first mentioned it, it was a concern of mine. And then the more he became the catalyst for amazingly great changes in my life, the more I concluded if he dumped me tomorrow, I would continue to wear this mark to honor him and all he has done for me.

For him? Nothing, so far anyway. There just isn't anything he wants.

I'm letting some of my ear piercings close up and he likes that, but it's not really something I'm doing for him. Just something I'm doing, that he likes, but doesn't care enough about it to actually order me to do it.

Oh wait... I chopped six inches of my hair off once because he kept inhaling it while snuggling. We found out that didn't help so now I'm growing it back out. Does that count?

I mark very easily and with little effort he can put marks on me that last for years. The very first night that we met face to face, he scratched my back with his fingernails until I was raw. I carried many of those marks for over a year. Less than a week later he did a little fire play with me and then marked me with a knife. I had marks down my back, butt, back of my thighs and calves. Over 2 years later there are still very faint marks on my calves from that night.

About 7 months after I became his slave he cut his symbol (pair of crossed swords) into my right thigh. That is a permanent mark and is almost two years old now. If it fades too much he will redo it. I think he wants to redo it anyway and touch up a few places.

There are no regrets about any of my marks and I am still his.

After several years of going back and forth about it, i was branded this April... we'd been together for about twelve and a half years at that point. i have a number of cuts that hadn't healed the way i expected (i used to heal clean

), kinda lost track of the "when"s, though... although i guess the "H" of "Happy 1st Anniversary" would be almost three years old at this point. Still together, no regrets. Most of my piercings were done by her (9 below the waist). i don't think i'd regret those at any point, as i've always liked the look of steel modifications.

An outer labia piercing and a brand of the initial of his last name. He's talked about a tattoo of an owl behind my ear, more labia piercings, or nipple piercings in the future, but really he (nor I) feel a rush for it. It'll happen when it happens.

When I saw my body missing a few layers of skin in the shape of his initial...and the whole process of watching the brand heal and tending over it really did impact me emotionally in a way I hadn't expected. I think also the fact that he did the brand and marked me by his hand definitely had an impact for me. For my owner it wasn't till the brand healed that he breathed a sigh of relief and started to enjoy it, and now he enjoys just tracing his fingertips over it.

Similarly the outer labia rings were definitely a positive. Its something he enjoys playing with, feeling during sex, and just knowing they are there and that they were done for him.

At the moment, I have no piercings, and no tattoos. However, Daddy would very much like me to get both. We've talked about it, and when we can afford it, I have agreed to the tattoos. We agreed that I would get one that he wants me to have, and then I am going to get one that I want. As far as the piercings go, I'd rather not have thrm, but if he really wants me to, I told him I would. He told me we can start slow, get my ears pierced first, see how it is, and go from there. One of the reasons i'm adverse to piercings, is I had my ears pierced as a child, they got infected, and it was...not nice. But, that may have been because I got them done at a mall, which a gun. Eventually, Daddy wants my ears pierced, my belly button, my nipples, and my labia.

Okay..........the "funny" thing about THIS thread is..........that once...........a long time ago......I acctually WANTED my nipples pierced...........it wasnt a BDSM relationship.......but I DIDNT get it done..........even though I wanted it done for Years.............but didnt...........cause they thought it was "ugly" at the time..............a few years later.................after I had them done.(done twice but my body still didnt like it :( but thats a diff story.....)...............my EX got Thier nipples pierced!!! Even though when i was w/them .......they thought it was Ugly!!!

CRAZY!!!

I ALWAYS do my body modification for MY SELF..............BUT...........I am ALSO not a sub.............. :S

.......................also...........this isnt the first time .......my WANTING to get my "body modified" ........has been something my "other" hasnt wanted.......................anyone have THOSE issues???

My most recent body modification is a backpiece of a Phoenix with the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the center with fire and thorns which I worked on drawing for 5 weeks before being inked... it speaks very clearly and directly to exactly what I believe spiritually, and the reality I create... the only pic of it is on my profile.

Just thought I'd throw in a different perspective to say that there's still some of us out there who think female "body modification" is an absolute abomination! I like ear rings and many of options available at the hair dressers (girl is always expected to keep her hair long) as well as the enormous variety available in female fashion, esp high heels.

But body piercings and, *gasp*, tattoos? About as attractive and feminine as her having a freakin' beard as far as I'm concerned! So call me old fashioned but the adult female form has almost everything it needs from the factory. Add the right grooming and an occasional perfume and I'm in heaven. Tis a sorry fashion age we now live in....

I find body mods to be an expression of committment to the lifestyle and the current partner.

I will not fault a sub/slave who comes to me bearing the handiwork of her previous partner(s).

Just as I wouldn't fault her for not being a virgin.

While new to being "owned," i'm not new to body mods. Everything i've done, i've done because it's something i wanted at that particular time. While Master has expressed a desire to mark me, that is a decision that would have to be made at the time. Right now, i don't see myself putting something permanent on my body because of someone else's whim... but that's definitely open for discussion later.
For me, i have 6 tatts and 3 piercings below the waist as well as 2 cartilage piercings in 1 ear... i had nipples pierced but they migrated and had to be taken out :-(
i'm a firm believer in my body is my temple - and i'll decorate it anyway i see fit!
