Why do people write whole replies in Capital letter's for?

This is annoying. Also why do people feel the need to use swear words such as Fuck or Fucken in these forumns? Can there be a rule to stop swear words such as these in the forumns?

Do people think because they are writing in a Bdsm forumn that its ok for every 2nd word to be F ing this? Alot of people in this forumn seem educated so why not act like it when choosing what words to use.

Maybe I am not frequenting the same forums you are, but I don't see this. Some people use all caps because they are ignornant. One participant uses them occasionally to be tongue in cheek funny. And I have not seen in inappropriate amount of vulgarity.
I am fine with the message boards at which I spend most of My time. I am not sure where you have been.

Freedom of choice.

I am constantly asked (sometimes TOLD - lol) if I would change my font - for a variety of reasons from the fact that they have difficulty reading it - to the fact that I shouldn't have a 'personality' - all very valid reasons on personal levels - but then - if you come to a forum, be prepared for not every to like what you have to say or react or write.

In some chat areas - capped words are seen as 'shouting' - In this forum, sometimes people, use it as a prop for sarcasm.
Whatever the reason - people use it - and to stipulate laws and commandments would be against the freedom of just to be.

You have the freeom not to read the comments of a thread containing such.
You also have the freedom to disregard comments from people who might swear. But to 'force ' a moral code onto someone you are unlikely to even meet, let alone agree with is a bit like someone forcing you to do something that would make you less of the person you are, and more into some conforming lamb.

From a personal point of view, I type as I speak - maybe without the accent of course, but if I swear, I do so because I wan to and if you don't like what I do - then do not listen, nor follow.

Be yourself - set the example of how you would like a person to be and you will probably attract the people you want to converse with.

You do not need knowledge to be 'polite' and refrain from swearing, but to do so doesn't mean you are in any way less educated.

Another point of view I hold, is that 'slave' is a terrible misuse of a word because of my moral and political stance - does that mean people can't use it? No - but if I can explain my reasoning at least they can learn to understand my point of view, rather than me just placing down a blanket ban of the usage in my 'little world'.

Isn't it just more beautiful to accept people as they are instead of forcing them into something they are not?

Peace and Love

I've been told a few times that I need to change my screen name because it has capital letters and thus confuses people. *giggle* as you can see it hasn't changed.

There are different reasons why people express themselves in different ways.

I will use the word Fuck now and then and that's just fine. It's a word, like any other, and a very versatile one that can create emphasis. I guess I'm not a language prude.

I would say that someone using it every 3rd word would become annoying only because it would seem that they didn't have any diversity in their vocabulary.

I'm not overly fond of profanity, but it's a useful indicator of my mood - I only swear frequently when I'm stressed/upset about something. Lordandmaster might have odd ways of making a point, but at least he makes people laugh, which I can always appreciate.
