I think it would be interesting to learn how to carry a tray of lite finger foods on all fours across the back to a person, how would you best go about achieving that? I thought perhaps get those little plastic toy food sets little kids are so fond of and practice with fake foods first.

Another neat idea would be if you had two and then the dom, to have one be the table waiting motionless, and then have the second person put the tray on the awaiting back.

My first thought on such training is practicing a smooth almost motionless (as far as the back is concerned) crawl and then move on to practice trays, etc.

Just my thoughts.

You'd need a spotter for that. Someone looking from a different perspective so to speak. It would take some work and practice to attain that balance. Be interesting to see how well it's able to be done.

I guess if you were determined and practised you'd be able to achieve it!

And how would you know that your back was motionless?

Take a bowl or saucer, fill it nearly to the rim with water, and place it on you back. If you back isn't steady, you will feel the water on your back. The closer to the brim, or the deeper the bowl, the more sensitive this will be (a drinking glass would be extremely sensitive). The water will give immediate feedback, though you will have to stop frequently to top the bowl off while learning. Crawling by a mirror can also be helpful to spot problem areas in your motion, especially if you use a clear bowl/glass as you can watch the motion of the water.

Practice, practice, practice.

I wouldn't bother with "toy" stuff to start off with - just get yourself a tray that you think would be good for what you're trying to do, so long as it isn't breakable because you'll drop it often until you get the hang of it.

It will be helpful to have someone spot you so you can figure out what you're doing wrong with it falls off.

I met a guy one time with 3 inch metal spikes instead of hair.

Maybe he was training to be a canape tray?

I serve Master his meals from my back a lot.  I haven't dropped or spilled anything, but it does take practice.  Just move very slowly and try to keep your shoulders and hips even at all times.  The biggest struggle was reaching around and getting it up there, which of course amused him cuz he's cruel like that, lol.

But of course.  The tray stays on my back and he eats off that.  Then I crawl away and remove the tray when he's done. :)

When he's really pleased, he'll reach over and feed me tidbits.

mmm hand feeding is a nice thought, I once in a while fantasize about him sitting at the table me on a stool on the floor and having to wait patiently for bites of my dinner:P I am not usualy very subservient, but I do have deep streaks of it burried inside me, and these types of thoughts tend to bring it out lol,

Maybe using a video camera to observe how you crawl would give usefull feedback.  I agree the water bowl is a great idea.

This is so "on topic" there is no way to leverage it for political punditry.
