Isn't it great when some of your favourite things work so well together?  Shopping and BDSM at once and I'm totally blissed out.

Then we get the stuff home and ohhhhhhhhh wow.

Wandering a little off topic...speaking of tack shops (horse equipment). Hmmm... yes... short jump bats (crops) to long dressage whips (just remember  they are not meant to be used hard on a horse... very stingy) to lunge whips...... rubber mouthing bits... gag snaffles (hah!), shedding blades, curry combs... Absorbine..... stirrup leathers.... martingales ... spurs (and in Western stores they have the kind with the sharp pointed spinning rowels on them...). Yep lots of possibilities there!

I worked at a tack shop once. Before I knew about the ways such things could be perverted.... That day-in, day-out smell of leather never got old.

I'm wondering who else has noticed this phenomenon:

When my Dom gets hold of a cane or crop, or any long whippy implement, he goes SuperDom.  There's something very Freudian about his response to certain implements.

This isn't in any way a complaint - the crop is my favourite thing.  But it's interesting to see the extra intensity when he's swishing some long, whippy implement around.

i know that Ma'am gets a certain gleam in Her eyes when She grabs a possible tool or toy; but then again, so do i

also, though i haven't had a pair in a year or so; i've always gotten an injection of aggression whenever i put on a pair of fingerless leather gloves

IMO sounds more like a classically conditioned response than a Freudian one.

For most of us, we only use whips/crops/floggers/etc only for BDSM play.

So every time we pick one up, it's a reminder of the other times we get our sadism on.

So, it's more of a Pavlovian thing.   Do you start salivating too?

Sincerely,
minxy

Drool at the mere mention of a good, hard play session.

Just be careful with the Pasta maker on the Kitchen Aid. We had a serious accident with that one. ::giggles::

Oh, how's the Ugly Sister working for ya?

Celeste

LOL believe it or not, the ex got the Kitchen Aid.

And the ugly sister had a...um...chilling effect.
