Thinks when a submissive gives consent it should be a educated consent and the submissive should know exactly what they are getting into before they do it, if not they should ask.

i think you mean "An educated consent" ?

i agree with what you say though, submissives should know what they are getting into, before it`s too late to negotiate.

Yet, believe it or not, you'd be surprised (or not) at how many do not do that. I know of three girls off the bat who asked to submit to my Master, and then once they were in the relationship, thought "Whoa!! This is way too hard!" and bailed out. Well, two bailed, one was dismissed.

I think sometimes people really crave the idea of being owned...they want someplace to belong and when they come across someone who affects them they jump right in, not realizing what it is going to entail, or that a Master who is ideal for one slave certainly isn't ideal for them.

Give me a break. It's ethical to provide a large amount of what one considers to be important points, though you can't fully disclose information. You don't even know who or what you are- how could you possibly tell a submissive everything? For all you know, there's a fatal malformation in one of your blood vessels that'll cause you to die on the spot in a bloody heeping mess open your i-th session together. She'd probably like to know that in advance, but you don't know about it, now do you?

In any case, objections on the impossibility of full disclosure aside, I'll default for stef's comment in post #2. Why'd you post this thread?

It's true except when it is not.... consensual non-consent.

Otherwise uninformed consent is not consent at all...

'Not so clear cut; I like to shove submissives in the oven and serve them up as a first-class second-course, but I tend to keep it to myself for fear of my prey having second thoughts on the matter.

i consented to be a slave. we clarified that He wouldnt kill me. i will do what pleases Him and makes Him happy . if i had objections, limits and the ability to say " no i wont do that" then i would be His girlfriend. my submission is complete. this is the M/s relationship we both need. not for everyone of course.

I have been this route and the subs I have talked to don't want to know.
They are not interested in who I am.
Except of course what I look like and what I like to wear.
