I've spent quite a bit of time since getting here reading the various profiles and journals of submissive women in Canada seeking dominant men.

Of those who wrote anything, a large percentage precede their statements with complaints about the kinds of responses they do not appreciate.

When compared a pattern emerges. There seems to be three categories of complaints (excluding some of the more unique difficulties):

Illiteracy:
It seems many men who respond do not read the profile and journal.

Disingenuous:
It seems there are some men who have learned enough to read the profiles and journals, but then proceed to try and mimic the women's ideal partner.

Presumptiousness:
Apparently some men think that by verbally (and often abusively) asserting authority over a woman they'll get what they want.

I should mention this is a multiple-choice poll.

you need an "All of the Above" button for the first 3 choices ...usually i receive messages from doms/male submissives (sometimes Dommes) who do the first 3

It's not just men, my profile makes it clear from the start that i am submissive and owned; and i often get emails from Dominant and submissive women.  These usually start with how happy they are for our relationship the follow it up with vivid and erotic descriptions of what they could do to or for me.  For some variety, i get some who treat me as if i were already their sub or slave, or even their Dominant.

My biggest problem is that people will read my profile, and seem to simply not give a shit.

Yet don't forget the select few women who are also illiterate and ignore what is written in a profile and still write to state they want to get into a relationship with myself! I wonder what part of non-hetero oriented they don't undestand.

My favorite is the men that email you with one line demanding your yahoo name so that they can talk to you there. As if I am going to give it to them. I usually send them a properly scathing reply.
