YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary - what's become a catch-all phrase meaing your circumstances may be different than others (origin: during the '70s and '80s automobile commercials in the US, when displaying the gasoline mileage of the auto a disclaimer was made in fine print, "your mileage may vary", to indicate that how you drive your vehicle will determine its efficiency.)
