Ok...so what words and/or phrases have Y'all learned since being on collarme?.... for me the two that come to mind are ....wankers, and snarky. I'm sure there are others, but i'm currently drowning my sorrows in a fine bottle of Patron silver tequila so i can't think of them at the moment....LOL

snarky was a new one for me too...made me giggle when I first saw it.
another one was...whilst.
I will think of more as time goes by.

CBT.  I've said here before that, when I first saw that, I just could not figure it out.  I asked Master what it meant and His exact reply was: "Something you are never going to need to know anything about.".  Then He told me and we cracked up laughing and we still do anytime the term pops up..........luci

For me is is more vast.  Pretty much every internet slang I know now I learned here.
Never been much into chat rooms and such.  I've always thought the less I know the better
off I am because I am living a real life instead of an online one.

Since these boards began there were times I was heavily involved and learning much more lingo than I cared
for.

I still laugh remembering a professor from the USA saying that he had never heard of the words 'amongst' and 'whilst' until he came to Australia and he now uses them all the time.

LOL....that's exactly what I thought.  I thought it was a bit odd but, as you say, not totally out of place, I suppose.  BIG difference though.........luci

Timtams I didn’t know what they were and because I was in a BDSM chatroom I thought they might be related to BDSM in some way but apparently not.

rofl, tim tams are delicious chocolate biscuits (cookies for yankees). they're wafer cookies filled with decadent chocolate of various flavors, then covered in chocolate. very DELICIOUS and very more-ish.

Now, THAT is useful knowledge! The more ways to enjoy chocolate, the better the world.

I guess the one I learned was YMMV. That one stumped me for a bit.
