I don't like it when people say "ask me for more" simply because it tells me more about a person when -they- tell me about themselves. I find I learn more when I hear what they think is important and how they phrase it.
Also, there will -always- be something for conversation. Profiles are too short to have -all- the information, but I think that mentioning things in the profile makes conversation easier. For me, I find it easier to start a conversation with someone if I have a topic that i know their interested. For example, I'd find it easier to start a converation with someone who said "I am very into body modification." I'd have an inlet to conversation, asking them what they like/have. I think stuff lik that, that leads into conversation by offering al ittle bit of info is always good.
When I mentioned education/career, I wasn't saying put financial information up. I can see how that wouldn't be a good thing. I was more leaning toward some information about your dirrection in life, so someone can know if it jives with them. For example, say you were planning to be in school for the next eight years, getting your MD. That might not work for someone who wants someone in the workforce. Silly example, but that's sorta what I was talking about.
Anyway, haven't read the updated profile 'cause it isn't vis8ible yet, just wanted to clarify what I'd meant.
Edited to add: Just wanted to third that your picture is really good.
(Heh, just realized I have =nothing= like this in my profile. For what it's worth though, am not looking for partners, and it's probably long enough as it is.)
