For semi-professional reasons, and for me own perverse edification, I am currently trying to assmeble a list of documentaires on body modification and/or on the various practices that are grouped under the term. Does anyone know of films on the subject? I am NOT looking for pornography or films that wallow in sensationalism. When people look sensational a bit can be accepted and tolerated, but I am primarily interested in films that provide a reasonably objective presentation of the subject with intelligent interviews with practitioners. Recommendations?

Try cosmetic surgeons.  That is a form of body mod.  There are plenty of films out there on it too.

All you need is a single cosmetic surgeon who does a bit more than the next.  Next thing you know
you'll have to much information.

There is a website, you may already know it.  It has been around since it seems the birth of the internet.
BME.com or something like that.  I know the initials are BME.
There are a lot of photo's and stories there.
